I was getting so frustrated trying to pour the sugar substitute I keep in shaker. It would form small clumps that would block the opening. I put one pack in the bottom of the shaker and filled it up. All I can say is WOW. There are NO clumps anymore. I mean NONE at all.

I bought these to place within electronics cases becase I live within a humid environment. these packets were sealed well and had no tears upon my inspection of them. I placed several dozen throughout my house and they seem to work alright when coupled with a dehumidifier. The package even provides instructions for how to restore the packets once they absorb enough moisture. Good product, if only they didnt smell so delicious...

I purchased these desiccants to use with sealing/storing food preps in Mylar bags. Unlike other desiccants, these don’t have to be protected from being exposed to air because they only begin to operate when sealed in an enclosed package, I have lost many unused desiccants of other brands in the past because I didn’t get them out of the air and sealed before they activated and were ruined. After sealing with these desiccants and revisiting the following day, the sealed bags had firmed up, showing that the desiccants are removing the oxygen as they should. The price is good for the amount of product you get. Overall a great value/product.

Great for drying nearly anything out, and with this large a package the silica packets only cost 5-6 cents each. I use it to help preserve concentrates in the freezer, I usually have two layers of zip-lock bags, the inner one holds the oils and the outer one has a silica packet to soak up any moisture.

I like that I can put these in my pill containers to keep my medication from turning to mush. However, it is important to note that this particular size does NOT show the colors of the beads. If it were the same package as the 5mg ones Id give it 5 stars, but since you cant see when the beads are saturated, Ive given it 4.

I ordered this not for food prep, but for craft items that will need to be stored for a long time. I wanted a cost-effective, light-weight means of keeping moisture out of a fabric craft that is stored in a plastic bag. This did the job! Ive popped one in each bag, then tied off the bags. It has been a hot humid summer, and so far, no condensation or any problems on the bags. (Yes, we have the A/C on all the time, but it has done almost nothing this year.) Definitely handy. It was shipped quickly, and the zip-top bag they come in means I can reseal without worrying about wasting any of the packets.
