> 3 dayI put it in my mothers documents that are in a safe that smells moldy. I put the documents in a sealable plastic bag along with a package to control the moisture problem. I also put it in with my cookies since I live in Hawaii, a high moisture climate covering with a paper towel to prevent direct exposure to the cookies. It prevents my cookies from getting soggy.

17-04-2025I use if to keep the salt dry in my salt shaker. I live in southern Florida where the humidity is always high. I also use it to keep my fructose sugar dry since it absorbs moisture and these packets keep it dry.

> 3 dayBought these to use with fruit I dehydrate at home. If left out or just in a baggie or other container, they slowly re-hydrate with any moisture in the air. They seem to work quite well, but not sure about the length of time they would last since the fruit gets eaten pretty quickly. :-) Theyve been good for 3 or 4 days so far.

> 3 dayWe needed these on our sailboat to help mitigate moisture/mold issues. We’re in the tropics and think it may be too much to expect these to do what we need in this environment. We put them in spices/meds and as long as they’re kept tightly closed seem to do the job, but when you’re in those bottles frequently...not so much (again, under these conditions). Under less humid conditions they should work fine, as we’ve used them in Pennsylvania with great results.

> 3 dayHighly recommended for those who fill their own capsules for herbal supplements. Not only is the product excellent, but my experience when asking a question of the seller was phenomenal - fast response and very patient with my questions.

18-04-2025I ordered this not for food prep, but for craft items that will need to be stored for a long time. I wanted a cost-effective, light-weight means of keeping moisture out of a fabric craft that is stored in a plastic bag. This did the job! Ive popped one in each bag, then tied off the bags. It has been a hot humid summer, and so far, no condensation or any problems on the bags. (Yes, we have the A/C on all the time, but it has done almost nothing this year.) Definitely handy. It was shipped quickly, and the zip-top bag they come in means I can reseal without worrying about wasting any of the packets.
