This is light and compact, but of remarkably sturdy design. Works wonderfully, especially with older models of computer, which is rare. Im working with a surface pro 3, running Windows 8.1, and I struggled to find a compatible product, but this immediately and painlessly integrated. Im enough of a technology veteran that I was very skeptical of immediate plug and play but the set-up took less than five minutes, and the headphones came online even before its completion. For anyone else struggling to understand the differences between adaptors: his is for an integrated headphone and mic. So, theres one standard 3.5mm headphone jack on one end and the other plugs into any USB port; you wont want to get this if you need to, for example, plug in headphones as well as an external microphone. But for your standard headphones without a lot of bells and whistles, you cant find anything better or cheaper to replace a defective audio port.

I personally love this product, it enhances sound quality and is made very well. The audio cord is covered by a threaded material to keep the wire inclosed and free from getting stretched out or damaged. Highly recommended

Bought this to use with a MIC+Headset with 1/8th inch output. I was intending to use it for some audio recording from voice for notes and for some Discord and other similar uses. Works flawlessly and perfectly on my mac and it works on windows 10 as well.

Great price and works great!

Unlike the line splitting male/male mini plugs to female mini jack, this little unit works like a charm. No problem with configuration, the computer had it ready in twenty seconds. It allows me to plug my mic/headphone combo plug into it, and my computer takes care of the rest. It does not disable other mic and headphone choices you have as presets. It simply appears in a scroll down list with whatever programs youre using. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

It works as far as a regular adapter. But does not recognize the logitech g432 for the Logitech app. So I am unable to use alot of the features of the headphones.

Fits snugly in USB, no drooping like the last adapter I had. In-line volume control and mic mute on 3.5mm cord work perfectly.

Only thing I slightly got worried about is the force I had to use to plug the headphone jack in... But otherwise it completely works with a USB hub and bypasses the steam decks headphone jack which turns the mic off if you have headphones plugged in.
