This keyboard is pretty great when its working. I got the kailh box white variant and they are quite delightful. However, my product has frozen up twice for me and has forced my hand to return it. I suggest potential buyers to either get a ducky or wait for the new galaxy lineup of boards

I can say that this is a great keyboard. In fact it is the only keyboard on the market that I really want; 60%, aluminum, fairly quiet because of the dampener pad, a huge selection of switches, and tap keys for a less than ideal, but usable arrow key solution. Which is why it is so frustrating that Durgod is leaving me in the lurch, I mean, I wont buy another out of principal, so I have to deal with this one, Along with my G Pro Wireless with a malfunctioning middle click. I am really tired of these companies and their warranty shenanigans. So what happened was pretty much since day one or so, cant remember now, the keyboard has been randomly disconnecting, shocking me (literally), making my monitor flicker on and off, getting stuck repeating keys, and/or the RGB goes crazy. It is often a combination of a couple of these. The fix is and has always been to unplug and re-plug the cable. At first I thought is was the cable, so I just kind of ignored it and eventually bought another cable. I usually pay close attention to this stuff within the 30 day return window, but this time I didnt. So after installing the cable, I finally found a pattern, it has something to do with electro static charges, as for months after I got this, every time I got up from my chair quickly, I got a shock, and my monitor would flicker once. I thought my house was just dry, etc... Now when I move to and away from this keyboard, I have to be very careful to discharge any static before I touch the keyboard, as if I dont, and sometimes anyway, the RGB will go funky, and the keyboard will go out etc... (see above). This happened in two different homes in two different rooms. I am also pretty sure this keyboard was responsible for shorting out an external sound card worth $40. I am afraid it is going to fry something else in my computer. So shortly after I got the new cable with no luck, I emailed Durgod about it and got one email back very quickly. It said Send address, we will express to you or something like that. So I did, and again, and again. No response. So I have no choice but review it poorly. I know everyone says this and never does, but I will update this review if they respond before the warranty period is up. I am sure I just got a bad one, but Durgod needs to make this right.

Got the white PBT board with Gat Yellow switches. The RGB really pops with the white version. Gateron Yellows are super smooth, and make Cherry Reds seem scratchy. The springs on the linear Gat Yellows are perfectly weighted. The stabilizers on this board are lubed and smoother than pretty much any prebuilt out there, including Ducky. If you want Gateron or Kailh switches, this board is a no-brainer since Ducky doesnt currently offer those options. If you want Cherrys, the choice is harder - between this and the Ducky Mecha Mini. (No issues with keyboard freezing, so maybe HK Gaming included the newer cables with this batch?) Just to add - I have 3 Durgods (2 Venus and a Hades). None of them have had any issue with freezing as a few reviewers have claimed. According to Durgod, the issue could be with the original cables in certain environments (Im assuming lack of proper shielding on the old cables). Contact HK Gaming for replacement cables if youre having issues. Again, Ive had zero problems with any of the three keyboards. Ok, got a 3rd board (lol) with Kailh Box Red switches, and wow. The Gat Yellows used to be my favorite but the Box Reds are just as smooth while being a tad faster for gaming (total travel 3.6mm vs 4.0). They also have zero key wobble due to the box design. And theyre not too fast or light to be unusable for typing (like Speed switches). Just a great all-round key switch.

Edit: Keyboard sometimes isn’t recognized when booting up windows 10, this has happened about 3 times already within a week. Also read someone experienced this issue as well. First off this keyboard is made of an aluminum case which you will only find on more premium keyboards so the added weight gives it a more premium and durable build quality. The case will not bend at all. The keycaps are also double shot pbt, the texture looks rough but they are actually very smooth, which some may or may not like. I personally like it. This keyboard comes in a variety of switches which is awesome, I got the gateron browns($100)and they are my first brown switches, they feel smooth and crisp. There is also no metal resonance at all. The stabilizers on this keyboard are amazing, they are well lubed out the factory. I own a ducky one 2 mini and this keyboard far exceeds it in terms of build quality and stabilizers. The only downside to this keyboard is that there are no adjustable stands on the bottom of it, it’s only one non adjustable height but it works fine for me. Also the type c input on this keyboard may seem like a tight fit for custom cables but it fit my non stock type c cable very well, so you should be fine with custom cables fitting but can’t vouch for it since I only tried it with one cable. The software is initially confusing to use but after tinkering around with it, I figured it out and it’s relatively simple to use but could definitely be improved on. The rgb is also very vibrant and well diffused within the keyboard which looks great. Overall this keyboard is great for the price and if you’re thinking of getting it, you won’t be disappointed!

The keyboard will randomly freeze in the middle of gaming or typing. The lights stay on, but no key inputs work. I have had this happen at least 15 times since I purchased this keyboard in Feb. I will be in the middle of a game and the keyboard will stop responding. Usually a quick reset of the keyboard by unplugging it and plugging back in fixes it. The last time happened today and the reset didnt work. It killed my USB port, swapped to a different port, and it killed that one too. I had to reboot my PC to get the USB ports back, and now the keyboard is working fine again(for now). It is very frustrating, because I really do enjoy the build quality of this keyboard. I am going to end up getting a Ducky if this happens much more.

This is a great top quality production mech. I love the sound of the Gat Yellows along with the factory lubed stabs, this makes a great sounding and feeling mech.

This keyboard nails it on every level, from the quality PBT keycaps, to the absolute god tier stabilizers (which come pre-lubed) you absolutely get an enormous amount of keyboard in a small package. I got mine with the Kailh box jades and they are by far the best switches Ive ever used. The LEDs are extremely bright, the programming allows for key reassignment as well as custom lighting. If youre on the fence at all about this board, get off it right now and put in an order. Its my daily and I will be hard pressed to ever find something pre-built that is better. **EDIT** Well -- I feel the need to edit my review, sadly. After about 2 or 3 weeks the keyboard began freezing... frequently. Up to 3 times per day. I contacted HK gaming and they sent me a certified cable and the board still freezes. Sadly, because of this, I would say avoid this keyboard at all costs. If you want something with box jades, get a hotswap board and put them in yourself.

I love this keyboard, the silent brown switches are great, the board feels very high quality, overall really positive experience so far. I will say the software for the keyboard is a bit clunky, and havent quite gotten used to it yet. I would not hesitate to buy this again, and will definitely be recommending to friends in the market.

Bought this keyboard because ive preordered a Ducky Mecha Mini but it was taking forever to arrive. The unboxing experience is premium, you get an aluminum case, lubed stabs, some kind of dampening foam under the pc. Got mine with gateron reds and theyre amazing, so much better talking about feeling, sound and response compared to the Romer G switches on the G810 that I used before.

Switched from a full size keyboard and man is this thing so small! Feels great to game on and being aluminium it feels sturdy. Kinda wish the key caps were aluminium too but for oh well. Definitely would recommend to anyone wanting a smaller keyboard.
