> 3 dayCouldnt be happier, got the box red in the white variant body and this thing is just awesome. I have many different boards and switch types this thing blows them all away with its lighting and especially software. The key caps are a little different feeling than your standard double shot pbt but still have a really nice feeling to them. And i love this software since you can get it to mimic anything on a full sized board with ease. Have had a ducky one two mini and hands down the Venus is better whether it comes to lighting or switch selection and in most cases it even seems the price is cheaper which to me is nuts with how awesome this board is.

> 3 dayThis thing is amazing. Great keycaps, great switches, and a great build. Unfortunate that it freezes randomly. Heard the Hades doesnt have that issue so Ill try it out. Hope they can nail that issue down and update whats shipped.

Greater than one weekSuper high quality board. Everything about this keyboard feels premium and solid. With that being said I had the common freezing problem where the keyboard stops working on just the second day. To fix, you simply unplug your keyboard and plug back it back in. I use my computer all day long for work, gaming, and internet surfing and I simply need something reliable no matter how nice the keyboard is. The company says that the freezing issue is due to a faulty cable that they will replace for free since the cables are removable type c. I returned the keyboard and purchased the Durgod Hades 68 Which is the same keyboard as this one except just a couple of more keys. Im going to try that one for a couple of weeks to see if that model freezes and will update this review. I believe the faulty cable story is not true because there are many claims that say the new cable did nothing. I believe the cable is used to stall customers outside of their effective return dates. (update!) I bought their other model (hades). Its also having the same problem. Let be real, when the last time you have heard of a keyboard freezing. Something is fishy . Look towards a ducky mini or an anne pro

Greater than one weekI can say that this is a great keyboard. In fact it is the only keyboard on the market that I really want; 60%, aluminum, fairly quiet because of the dampener pad, a huge selection of switches, and tap keys for a less than ideal, but usable arrow key solution. Which is why it is so frustrating that Durgod is leaving me in the lurch, I mean, I wont buy another out of principal, so I have to deal with this one, Along with my G Pro Wireless with a malfunctioning middle click. I am really tired of these companies and their warranty shenanigans. So what happened was pretty much since day one or so, cant remember now, the keyboard has been randomly disconnecting, shocking me (literally), making my monitor flicker on and off, getting stuck repeating keys, and/or the RGB goes crazy. It is often a combination of a couple of these. The fix is and has always been to unplug and re-plug the cable. At first I thought is was the cable, so I just kind of ignored it and eventually bought another cable. I usually pay close attention to this stuff within the 30 day return window, but this time I didnt. So after installing the cable, I finally found a pattern, it has something to do with electro static charges, as for months after I got this, every time I got up from my chair quickly, I got a shock, and my monitor would flicker once. I thought my house was just dry, etc... Now when I move to and away from this keyboard, I have to be very careful to discharge any static before I touch the keyboard, as if I dont, and sometimes anyway, the RGB will go funky, and the keyboard will go out etc... (see above). This happened in two different homes in two different rooms. I am also pretty sure this keyboard was responsible for shorting out an external sound card worth $40. I am afraid it is going to fry something else in my computer. So shortly after I got the new cable with no luck, I emailed Durgod about it and got one email back very quickly. It said Send address, we will express to you or something like that. So I did, and again, and again. No response. So I have no choice but review it poorly. I know everyone says this and never does, but I will update this review if they respond before the warranty period is up. I am sure I just got a bad one, but Durgod needs to make this right.

> 3 dayThis keyboard was great not only from the feel of the switches and the quality of the materials. Sadly after about 18 months of use it has stopped functioning properly even after cleaning. It will activate key presses at random and will not stop until it is unplugged. Also it will flat out just stop working at times. Kinda sad

> 3 dayThis keyboard is really solid! I got they yellow switches and they sound and feel good. The only complaint i have is that randomly (but not often) it will stop working and would require and disconnect and reconnect. This can get frustrating at an intense game.

> 3 dayThis review is for the Durgod Venus with Kailh Box Red switches Written on 2/22/2020 Pros: - Solid Aluminum Construction - Factory Lubricated Stabilizers - PBT Double Shot Keycaps - Extremely Powerful (Optional) Software, more on this in my thoughts - Sound dampening foam - Solid RGB Lighting - Tap Arrow key functionality - Includes USB A -> C, and C ->C cables - Includes nice wire key cap puller Cons: - No elevation adjustment Thoughts: Guys..... You dont even know. It actually baffles me how this brand isnt the most sought after thing on the internet. Im losing my mind at how good it feels. Every key stroke is so buttery smooth with only the switch making any noise whatsoever. The aluminum construction is rock solid. Absolutely no flexing, or squishyness to be found here. These switches on this board, are the best things I have ever felt also. They are smooth unlike any other switch Ive tried. I usually go for browns of some sort, but I really wanted to try these since I was considering building a custom keyboard with another type of linear switch. The quality of this thing is just something else. The ONLY better option would be to custom build, and even then its going to be the same quality, except you can say that you built it yourself. It really doesnt get much better than this. The lubricated stabilizers on all of the modifier keys make the keys almost non-existent. If youve never felt a lubed spacebar, youre in for something special. The software is amazing as well. Its not like other software youve used before. Its a compiler software, which means that you actually build your own firmware. This is really nice because, if you wanted, you could install it, customize every single key, on every single FN layer (FN1, FN2, FN1+FN2) to do whatever you want, then uninstall it and the keyboard will always have your customization. The tap arrow functionality is an extremely nice feature for a 60% keyboard. You know that the size of a 60% is wonderful, but you have to sacrifice your arrow keys. Not here. When you turn on the tap function (FN1+Capslock), your right shift, ctrl, fn1, and fn2 become your arrow keys. If you tap them for less than 200ms, they seamlessly act as arrow keys. If you hold them longer than that, they function as their regular selves. Look, if youre on the fence about giving one of these a try, just do it, you really wont regret it. You WILL NOT find anything better at this price point. Durgod have managed to manufacture an enthusiast grade keyboard, at an affordable price. Forget Ducky, and any other big name you can think of like Logitech, or Razer. This is head and shoulders above those. As usual, if anything changes, like something breaks or stops working as intended, Ill create a timestamped edit and adjust my ratings.

> 3 dayEverytime I press keys on the keyboard I hear a loud clack and a spring noise. I dont know what part of the keyboard is doing that.

> 3 dayI really like this keyboard although, I do miss my f1 keys. I have a few problems with this keyboard but Im not sure if its really that avoidable. First is over time the keycaps tend to build up with dead skin on top and on the sides of the keycaps. Second, Im not sure if its the keyboards issue or mine but ever since I switched keyboards, this one once in a while keeps disconnecting itself and all inputs wouldnt work until I unplug and plug the usbc right inside.

Greater than one weekI just dont have the time or patience for full custom keyboards. This one gets the job done with panache, with its aluminum body and bevy of switch options. The Kaihl Box Jade switches are BEEFY and clicky. Way more force needed compared to Cherry MX Blues. But the sound is more pleasing to me with the Kaihl. The quality of construction is great. Its well-built, solid, and the customization software isnt total garbage. It is a little pricey, but then so is the Ducky Mecha Mini. And this thing is much more readily available. I have a Ducky One 2 TKL, and the build quality of the Durgod is probably better (chassis doesnt flex like the Ducky plastic chassis does). If this were $110-$120, it would be a home run. But I see its already gone up $10 in price since I bought it six weeks ago :/ 10-month update: Ive had zero issues with this little tank of a keyboard. Ive not had any issues with the customization software, and have had no issues with freezing or repeating characters on my unit. The switches are just as they were the day I received it, and the board/case has no issues with flex or creaking. Im really happy with my unit, and just purchased another (this time with the Cherry MX Silent Red switches to contrast from the Kaihl Box Jades).
