I love the overall feel of the keys, the look, and the sound of this keyboard, however HK Gaming seems to have quality control issues with their boards and I would not recommend purchasing from them. My keyboard has started to fail after 2 months of use. The keyboard freezes and needs to be unplugged and plugged back in to get it to respond and it fails to register key presses. My s key and my o both fail to register on a regular basis. Ive reached out to HK Gaming twice and have not had any service responses. For a board that is less than a year old this is unacceptable. Im immensely disappointed.

I love this keyboard. This is the best thing I have ever had the pleasure of typing on and gaming with. That being said. I started to notice that my board would freeze and no longer allow input or would freeze on a single keystroke and the problem could only be resolved by unplugging and replugging or switching to another profile. This board is roughly around the 110-130 depending on when you catch it or where. There should not be any bricking defects in a board that expensive. The profile switch would be a good fix to the problem if you just loaded the same profile but theres no tutorial or anything showing you how to create and save and load a new one. Not to mention that on the card the instructions direct you to download a software for it that is not even in existence anymore.Speaking on the official discord with what I assume to be a PR person I was told that the problem is indeed the board and that they have fixed it on the second round of shipments. However Amazon only has the first round now and they wont receive the new ones until later in the year due to the current COVID crisis. Luckily I can still return and buy a ducky.

This keyboard nails it on every level, from the quality PBT keycaps, to the absolute god tier stabilizers (which come pre-lubed) you absolutely get an enormous amount of keyboard in a small package. I got mine with the Kailh box jades and they are by far the best switches Ive ever used. The LEDs are extremely bright, the programming allows for key reassignment as well as custom lighting. If youre on the fence at all about this board, get off it right now and put in an order. Its my daily and I will be hard pressed to ever find something pre-built that is better. **EDIT** Well -- I feel the need to edit my review, sadly. After about 2 or 3 weeks the keyboard began freezing... frequently. Up to 3 times per day. I contacted HK gaming and they sent me a certified cable and the board still freezes. Sadly, because of this, I would say avoid this keyboard at all costs. If you want something with box jades, get a hotswap board and put them in yourself.

Really nice metal frame it has dampeners in it. Custom keys to fit in your hand well. Overall great keyboard.

I think this is one of the best keyboards available right now in this form factor, you wont regret picking this up!

I had some concerns due to so many reviews that Ive seen regarding issues with freezing and all sorts of other problems. But so many of those things just went out the window as soon as I started using the keyboard and felt it in hand and typing. The quality is so much better than what I had expected. The build of the frame, the sound signature, the feel of the keycaps. All so much better than what I have experienced before. I have been long time user of other main stream brands like Razer and Corsair, and no knocks on those boards, they served me well but the experience with this has been a step above. One of the main standouts is the stabilizers. Man I was so used to rattling stabilizers that I thought it was normal. What a breath of fresh air man. My gaming experience is so much more improved since it takes up so much less space on my desk, so I can move my mouse around without hitting the keyboard every now and then as I used to. But of course this isnt ideal for my day to day use which is programming. I have actually made the effort to get used to using the board though just because of how nice it is. I do plan on purchasing a TKL from Durgod (the K320 Corona) based on my experience with the Venus, to use as my daily driver for work purposes and then use the Venus just for gaming. That does seem excessive when i think about it and almost a waste of the Venus but alas, some things are just easier with dedicated keys. I will HIGHLY recommend this little board and NO I havent experienced any of the freezing issues that other users have noted in their reviews and I hope I dont in the coming months ahead. Oh and the silent switches are awesome.

Pros: Stylish, feels like quality materials, cool RGB effects Cons: Freezes mid sentence, you have to cycle power to the keyboard to recover at which point you have to reprogram the RGB or select it from their horrible KB app. The app doesnt resize for resolution so in my case, my 1520x1440 display caused the screen to clip the upper and lower portions so I could not use the app without changing resolution first, then was required to use the task manager to kill the app. Its terribly annoying especially coupled with the constant resets. Without those two issues it would be rated much higher but the freezes and software are nonstarters. I have requested a refund/return and I bought the Red Dragon instead.
