> 24 hourGood for the money but polarity of the wires was revered. The black is hot and the red is cold

> 24 hourUsed on dual swing gate, these are replacements for one failure and spare for the future. First set in use since 2017. Specs say 10mm per sec. Full travel (300mm) 30 sec. Right? One is 30, one is 55 sec. One is 70 sec. Same load, same voltage (13.5 avg solar), if this is no problem for you then good value, Im looking for faster and more consistent.

> 24 hourThis product is working fine, strong motor and if mounted correctly (insulated from physical contact by (for example) rubber padding) very silent. Watch out! This product is 16 inches long and NOT 400mm. 16inch is 406,4mm. This caused a return for me because it had to replace a defect 400mm piece.

> 24 hourI build my own adjustable desk, everything weights about 65Lb. I bought this and use it less than 2 weeks. It has some black powder with the rods(see picture). It is LOUD, much louder then the one at my work place.

> 24 hourWorked for a few weeks and then bent for whatever reason. The only thing I can think of is that my turkey (maybe 40lbs at the time) jumped up onto the open door, and caused the bend. The actuator was pushing straight down, going up over a wall and pulling the door up at an angle (think upside down U of cable), with nothing to catch on anywhere remotely close, everything moved freely. Was lifting a 15 lb door, and thats being very, VERY generous on its weight. Loved it while it was working, but Im not about to replace it given my experience.

> 24 hourDo NOT use for automatic chicken coop door unless you have a sensor that stops it if a chicken is in the doorway.

> 24 hourI built a solar tracker with 2 of these actuators. Regulated voltage, much less than 25% duty cycle (10 seconds every 10 minutes) with a perfectly balanced (125lb total weight), bearing rack. The panels can be easily moved with a single finger with less than 5 lbs pressure. One motor is shorting when moving in one direction but not the other as if the brushes are broken. These motors worked very well until it broke. Amp draw was less than 0.5a when running.. sure sounds like a build quality issue.

> 24 hourUsed these to lock my KUV side doors (one for each side). They are loud enough to hear them operate, but that tells me they are working and is kind of a cool factor too. Work well anb great price. If they ever fail they are cheap to replace. Love it!
