> 3 dayIm sure these would be fine for light duty applications but they definitely cant lift anywhere near their max rating. I can push them in with one hand. After being disappointed with these I bought ones made by Homend and they 10x better for a few more dollars

> 3 dayActuators are a little loud as they slowly close. But, works great as chicken door opener/closer on a timer.

> 3 dayI installed this on a grain bin hatch which gets opened twice a year. After 22 months it has failed. Upon opening the gear box water was discovered inside. NOT ACCEPTABLE! May be ok indoors but not outside

> 3 dayThis product is working fine, strong motor and if mounted correctly (insulated from physical contact by (for example) rubber padding) very silent. Watch out! This product is 16 inches long and NOT 400mm. 16inch is 406,4mm. This caused a return for me because it had to replace a defect 400mm piece.

Greater than one weekI build my own adjustable desk, everything weights about 65Lb. I bought this and use it less than 2 weeks. It has some black powder with the rods(see picture). It is LOUD, much louder then the one at my work place.

> 3 dayThese are not built from the highest quality parts but I would say that are built well enough for the price. They have pressed powdered metal gears and are better than plastic drive trains found in other models. The lead screw carrier is plastic however so this might be an eventual point of failure. I have not tested the rated weight capacity yet but it did not have trouble lifting 200 lbs in an informal test. I like that it has internal limit switches on both the in and out strokes. The upper limit switch is on a rail and can be adjusted for fine tuning the extended position. Out of the box, they look like a good value. Time will tell.

> 3 dayGot these to replace a single one that was only rated half of theses I bought and used 2 instead of just one. So double the capacity and 2 instead of one youd think it would last, after about a month they started to get loud, 6 months later sounded like they were going to explode and at 8 months they quit within 4 days of each other. Only ran in and out 2 times a day and lifting a 1/4 of what there rated to do. DONT BUY !!!!

Greater than one weekI used this actuator in a home made chicken coop automatic for opener. The actuator is quite slow when opening and closing, but so far it has been dependable. Combined with a 12V power supply, a relay, and an Arduino, it seems to work well!
