I thought I had found a version of these smart plugs at last that had just two prongs for use in my older electrical sockets. Nope. These have two blades and that third round ground plug. Ive already got these kind. Im sending these ones back.

I understand you have to go through a third party app installation in order to connect to the Google home. But what do not me expectation was that I had to connect to the plug in every single day. It completely forgot the plug in for a week straight.

When they work with Alexa, things are great but more often than not they turn off. When they turn themselves off, Alexa suggests checking internet connection, etc. I unplug it and plug it back in and then it works until the next time it turns itself off--too many times to be reliable.

Try to connect to the wireless, I have the two versions 2.4 and higher, and yet this refuses to sync. Gave it a try, sent it back.

It fails to mention in the description that if your internet isnt 2.4ghz it will not work for you. I have 5ghz and it will not work!! Do not buy this crap from China guys

If you have someone you really do not like, buy them one of these. Theyll will be driven insane trying to make them work. Out of 4, Ive been able to make two work as advertised. The software is bush-league and the switches are poor build quality.

they were great for a day or two, the timers worked fine, then they started randomly disconnecting from my phone. the timers dont last at all and when i try to use the app to simply turn them on or off, it just says disconnected. waste of money tbh.

I like the fact I dont need Google or Alexa to utilize these devices. A simple app on my phone allows me to turn lights on or off. Its also nice that you can set timers to automatically turn divices on or off at specific times.
