Wanted to like this but all prints have come out with a brown burnt like tint to it. Also after final rinse they get really cloudy. Not impress with the look at all with this resin. I did forget one print in my curing chamber while I went out for an hour and that was interesting. The brown really showed through on it and it was very brittle. Part of snapped off with little effort.

i changed from the standard resin to the ABS one and its great , the normal resin is so brittle that is need the carry the things i printed with so precaution to arrive completed. but this one i fallen from my hand to the floor and they mostly safe.

Still a bit spendy, and I tend to have a smoked glass finish on my prints versus the crystal clear their example leads you to believe. Perhaps with a UV curing lamp this sort of glass finish is possible, Ive not used it with a curing lamp yet so can only guess. Its a bit pricey for resin, so make sure it meets your printers requirements and has a color and quality acceptable for your use, in light of my comments.

Did this resin print good? Yes it did, however that is only half the battle. This resin lacks the proper pigment stabilizers required to avoid color shift after exposure to uv light. Out of the chamber the print looked good however after curing the white turned a brown yellow color. You can see in the picture what white is supposed to be and what it actually looks like. Do yourself a favor and only buy black from this company and stick to higher quality brands for anything lighter

What chemicals are involved here? What is the protocol for cleanup and disposal? Should not be available in the United States without the appropriate safety information.

The manufacturer recommends shorter curing times for this resin, but I ran the Resin XP test and found that 15 seconds with 0.05mm layers worked best. I use 15 second regular layers, 5 seconds of off time, and 10 bottom layers with 60 seconds of exposure. I’m getting consistent successful prints. Chess pieces come out with a brilliant frosted glass look. Some of my initial prints failed due to my own fault of using light supports and supports that were too long. I just bought another bottle of the clear resin. I used isopropanol to clean the models in my photos. Its possible that this would have been clear if I used Resinaway or some other product. Acetone cleaning produced the same frosted glass results. I printed a larger rook that appeared a little more yellow than the others. The model was not hollowed. Im very happy with the smaller chess pieces. I think it’s worth the $30 I paid.
