ELEGOO ABS-Like 3D Printer Resin LCD UV-Curing Resin 405nm Standard Photopolymer Resin for LCD 3D Printing Grey 1000g

I just got my first resin printer (Elegoo Mars) 1.5 weeks ago and in the process of ordering, I did some online research and asked what was a good starter resin that would just work right out of the bottle. This resin (Elegoo ABS-like grey resin) was recommended and it has worked great! I bought 3 other colors/types of Elegoo resins and have been reluctant to try them because Im having such great luck with this one! Every print has come out perfect, except for the one where I didnt do the supports correctly, but it still came out pretty darn good!

Im using the resin with an Elegoo Mars 2 Pro mono with excellent highly detailed results which is important when printing jewelry with fine detail like the prongs to set gemstones in.

The bottle had multiple globs in it and chunks of semi harden resin not worth the 40 bucks it cost.

Its stinks, but its chemicals. So you should already know that. Other than that its great

Clear resin is not clear. It comes out of the printer clear and then if you try to cure it at all it turns a nice nurgles rot yellow... not what i purchased. I purchased a clear resin. If you would like a clear resin look elsewhere.

Purchased this resin for 3-d printing with the anycubic mono. I 3-d model and make toys to sell on etsy. this resin is great. I mix it with a little bit of the tenacious to ensure its durability. great print quality and shows the finest of detail. I purchased this resin in the white and this will be the only resin I use for toy building. Great Price as well. Very strong with the tenacious especially for mid-sized-larger prints.

After complaining about how the Elegoo Clear resin was basically unusable due to a formula change in 2021, Elegoo reached out and offered to supply me with another resin. Since I mainly use ABS type resins for durability (slightly improved durability), I chose their gray color. It arrived and I used it to print a new model I was developing. The resin is thicker and less viscous than the normal brand I use. However, it literally printed very well with no setting changes on my Anycubic MonoX. Overall, I will say that Elegoo makes good resins. However, their clear resin is to be avoided for now until they have a better formulation. Hope this helps.
