ELEGOO ABS-Like 3D Printer Resin LCD UV-Curing Resin 405nm Standard Photopolymer Resin for LCD 3D Printing Grey 1000g

First time 3d printer here. Works great. I read a lot and watched a lot of YouTube videos warning about the smell. I use it in my garage with all the doors closed and cant smell it. I would recommend getting a funnel when pouring the resin back into the bottle. One last thing Dont forget the PAPER TOWELS!!!

I have used the gray, the yellow and the transparent resins offered by elegoo. The gray resin I needed to tweak the settings a bit compared to the resin I was using before. If over-cured when printing, it gets a fine brownish top layer that I dislike but after playing with the settings I got it just right... the figurine I printed before getting to my ideal settings and the funnel I printed after... The transparent when cures, the yellowish/brownish layer is even more noticeable and harder to tweak the settings out... The yellow one I found to be the worse... so 5 stars for the gray, 4 stars for the transparent one and 2 stars for the yellow... Ive been resin printing for several years and I am super bummed to leave this review. I just spent several days troubleshooting my printer, slicer, & printing lab trying to make this resin work. Initially I had one or two “acceptable” prints with the resin - but after that things continued to get worse. I had just replaced the FEP film on my Elegoo Mars for the first time in months, so I was stoked to make a bunch of flawless prints. However each subsequent print was resulting in worse and worse results. Obviously I assumed I had done something wrong in my setup - so I looked into the following areas that could have an impact on the failed prints: -leveling the build plate (4 times total) -slicer settings & supports -ambient printing temperature -exposure time, retraction speed, etc... NONE OF THESE HAD A SIGNIFICANT IMPACT. So many failed/unacceptable prints. I assumed the UV light was failing (or something with regard to the hardware of the printer was failing). I was looking into purchasing another printer when I tried using another resin (because I hadn’t considered the RESIN being the issue). However, as of this moment, every single print has come out immaculate using an ALTERNATIVE resin. Literally the exact same files with the exact same settings for the exact same type of resin… But from a different manufacture. Thus: I am bummed to leave this review, but I have wasted a ton of my time the past several days trying to get my printer to work correctly, when it is really just an issue with the resin as far as I can tell.

Great red to use with the Elgoo Mars.

For the price I expected this resin to have an odor most foul, but I was pleasantly surprised to find out it has very little smell at all. The adhesion has been pretty good. Ive only had one failed print in the past week from the model not sticking to the build plate.

This resin was pretty easy to use- I ran a quick resin xp test and had no problems from the 1st print. The opaque grey holds/shows details well.

This uv resin is not crystal clear. It has a off translucent yellow appearance and has a very strong smell.

Good quality for the price. I havent had any issues getting things to print using it.

Very good Resin with excellent output and durability. I will definitely purchase again.
