Edit: I contacted Elegoo, they offered sending me 2 replacement bottles and a screen replacement, I already purchased from another store on Ebay since amazon doesnt do global shipping since the epidemic, Ive been constantly using elegoo grey resin with great results, those 2 bottles are the only exceptions Im changing this to 5 stars for their great customer service and support Last month, I ran out of a bottle of resin, and switched to one that I had stored...it was stored perfectly in a very dry condition, not opened, in a drawer and in 20 degrees C I used to use Elegoo resin without fail, and loved the quality of prints I was getting, however this batch seems to have had it rough, it wont stick and it wont print. Out of frustration, I changed 4 FEP films, and the LCD screen, not knowing the issue was with the resin, only to find out after someone on reddit highlighted, that this is probably an issue with the resin...this thing costed me more than a 100 bucks, and I have 2 useless bottles

Prints are coming out well and the odor is tolerable. First bottle was expired but customer support replaced it.

I have been using Elegoo Gray for over 6 months now. It is an excellent resin for the Photon. I use 3, 60 second bottom layers and the adhesion is excellent. It provides my prints with excellent detail at 12 second per .05 layer. I would recommend this resin if you are looking for ease of use, and print quality.

Update: I feel like you can’t beat Elegoo support. They reached out and wanted to make it right. They are replacing the resin. If anything they deserve the 5 stars for great support. I’ll try the new bottle and update. I’d say that if you purchase anything Elegoo you’re covered. I love my Elegoo Saturn S, and thought this resin would be a sure thing. It was anything but.

Color

I want to start this with pointing out that I have both the transparent resin and the grey resin bottles from elegoo and a bottle of anycubics grey. I havent had issue with the transparent resin, but the grey. Even after shaking the resin, its very watery, more so than the anycubic and the elegoo transparent. Ive also noticed that the grey resin starts getting white streaks in it as its printing. Ive had several failed prints with different models and after changing the resin out to the other brand I havent had issues or the white streaking.

This resin hardens quick and easy. I like that so the smell doesnt stay very long and you can handle it without taking so long to cure. The printer and this resing go very well together

Its fine resin that holds a lot of detail, just use longer exposure settings for the layers 90 seconds for the bottom and 10 seconds for each layer afterwards to make sure it is properly cured

Very good resin, good prints and low oder.
