ELEGOO Mercury Plus 2 in 1 3D Printing Wash and Cure Station V2 for Mars Photon S Photon Mono LCD SLA DLP 3D Printer Models

First experience with resin printing. I got the Mercury, a Mars 2 Pro and a bottle of water washable resin. I adjust the hangar so that the build plate just touches the top of the water. When the water moves it will end up flowing onto the top of the build plate to remove most of the residue there. Pleased with the results so far. Note - the sensor prevents the unit from running without the cover on, even in wash mode.

After a little bit after a year and hardly any use the wash function of the machine doesnt work.

Great product. Makes cleaning up a print a breeze and mostly mess free.

I use this unit with 91% Isopropyl Alcohol and the spinning feature spins the alcohol and does a great job cleaning parts. I havent used the curing feature as I bought this for cleaning only, as I was using an Ultra Sonic Cleaner to clean my prints I must say for me this unit gets my prints much cleaner. Good unit, easy to use and set up. You will need a good amount of cleaning solution to get started.

I had purchased a Mercury Plus a little while back and was disappointed to find that one side of my lights had stopped working after the first few uses. I contacted Elegoo about the issue and they could not have been more helpful. They quickly sent out a replacement light bar without hesitation. Replacing the part was simple enough and before I knew it my Mercury Plus was back in action. The staff at Elegoo is incredible and dedicated to making (and keeping) their customers happy.

Makes cleaning resin prints easier.

Im sending back all ELEGOO products. I bought a Mars 2 Pro and the wrong product was sent. I had to spend $20 on a round trip to town to exchange it. When the printer finally came, there was a quality control issue. So instead of resin, I bought a Neptune 2 to try my luck with PLA. When it came in there was another quality control issue. I was on video chat with three different people for almost 8 hours of total troubleshooting. They all agreed its defective.

I initially used this with the Elegoo Standard Grey, which Im not a fan of. I had planned to just use all my stock of the standard resin and only buy water washable resin after, but the Mercury+ makes post print processing so easy, I might actually consider using the standard stuff again. The is a warning on the product page that the Mercury Plus isnt intended for cleaning the water washable resin, but I have found that using hot (preferably near boiling), water significantly improves both the clean up process and removing supports without damaging the model. My cure station set up before was a simple 120v UV lamb for like a nail salon or something. Didnt even have a proper hanger, as I just hung off a kitchen cabinet door by its own cable. I pretty regularly over exposed my prints as it would take hours for them to cure fully and I would forget about them. This thing does in 10 minutes what my ghetto lamp does in like 3 hours. And the turn table lets things cure evenly. So now my prints dont have areas that are over or under exposed. If you have an SLA printer, this thing is a must have.
