This is the best streaming device for the price. It is easy to install the software is easy to use. Plus, it looks great in videos or photos and adds validity to your clout as astreamer. Elgato is a great company with awesome tech support. I highly recommend getting yourself one... or two... and dont forget the Wave XLR to add with it.

Perfect for what I needed it to do

I do a lot of editing in FinalCut Pro X. Im really bad at remembering shortcut keys. This solved my problem. I was able to design a layout with my most used function keys and now have shuttle, zoom, editing, timing and other functions - quite literally - at my fingertips. While designed for many on-line activities, this little gem can be programmed to control many programs. Im in the process of adding basic control keys for things like Logic X, word processing and other apps I use on a regular basis. The ability to create and assign your own icons is very cool allowing the visual cue to be exactly what triggers my mental response to I need to make it go forward. Worth looking into if you do any repetitive tasks on your computer.

Genauso wie die internen Capurekarten von Elgato ist das Streamdeck XL überteuerter Chinaschrott (Made in Taiwan) mit schlechter Software. Zudem kommen ab der OBS-Version 28 Kompatibilitätsprobleme hinzu, die auch nach einem OBS-Minorupdate seitens Elgato immer noch nicht per Installationsrotine gelöst wurden. Für ein Unternehmen mit diesem Markwert absolut beschämend.

First, the negatives:

Gerade wurde mein Streamdeck XL geliefert. Die Klebelaschen am Karton waren aufgerissen, der Karton innen ist beschädigt. Das Kabel war nicht mehr originalverpackt und die weiße Tuchverpackung war ebenfalls verschlissen.

The best investment for productivity. I use it for film editing and grading in Resolve and its a massive timesaver when it comes to shortcuts. Highly recommended.

Excellent piece of kit! Use it mainly for programs and other strange hotkeys.
