Elgato Stream Deck MK.2 – Studio Controller, 15 macro keys, trigger actions in apps and software like OBS, Twitch, ​YouTube and more, works with Mac and PC

I use this with the open source Companion software from Bitfocus. Im able to use it with all of my studio gear and its superb for what I need. It controls my MOTU mixer, my ATEM Mini Pro, my mimoLive software, my HomeAssistant lighting.

I do a lot of editing in FinalCut Pro X. Im really bad at remembering shortcut keys. This solved my problem. I was able to design a layout with my most used function keys and now have shuttle, zoom, editing, timing and other functions - quite literally - at my fingertips. While designed for many on-line activities, this little gem can be programmed to control many programs. Im in the process of adding basic control keys for things like Logic X, word processing and other apps I use on a regular basis. The ability to create and assign your own icons is very cool allowing the visual cue to be exactly what triggers my mental response to I need to make it go forward. Worth looking into if you do any repetitive tasks on your computer.

I liked how this looked, very professional. It was easy to setup and is limited only by your imagination.

This unit is absolutely amazing. The Elgato team are also very proactive in keep the the software up to date.

I’m not a streamer but I thought these were cool so I got one. It’s relatively useful for things outside of streaming but it becomes obvious that that’s its main purpose. If you stream get it. If you don’t, you’re better off with a cheaper macro pad or something.
