eMedia Guitar For Dummies

This was purchased with the intent of dusting off my guitar and learning to finally play it. Sadly recent travels and other day to day events have not made it possible yet.

I have had this book for a long time and Ive still to read it and try it out.

havent got into it very far, but it seems ok so far.....will keep working on it, as the weeks go by.....

After reaching the middle ages I figured that yet again I would pick up a guitar and try to actually learn a little about playing it.

I liked it very much and so my kids, it is very easy to follow the courses and sessions inside the software lessons.

I opened up the package and inserted the disc in my computer. Nothing happened. When I went to check the disk it said there was nothing on it. Not a happy camper. Could just be a bad disk. Ill look to getting the same thing at my local book store.

Does not work with Windows 10. I tried several times to load it on my PC but each time it locked the entire computer up.

Found this a great way to pick up and start playing from the very start. Next stop is the big time..

Its been about 12 years since I first learnt to play the guitar and Ive been trying to rekindle my interest in it for about a year now. During that time Ive tried a couple of PC tutorials, a DVD and even the Guitar for Dummies book but have had very little success. The main problems were always the same - first, they offered poor tuning information or software, leaving the chords sounding horribly wrong; and second they either went too quickly, assuming a good level of knowledge, or just didnt engage you very much in wanting to learn.
