eMedia Guitar For Dummies -- good for beginners . I got it for my daughter, and it was easy for her.

This is pretty good for beginners. Some have complained it was too beginner, others say its too complicated. works for me though. You dont need to know much to earn a little song pretty quickly

The only reason I give this 4 stars instead of five, is that the program moves a little too slow at some parts and a bit too fast at others. This is an EXCELLENT program for the beginner guitar player. Easy to use and follow. Lots of helpful extras like animated fretboard and metronome. I tried a few other guitar programs and this one is far above the rest.

The seller was great, the software I did not like the soft ware is not what I was looking for.

We ordered this book for our son who has been using these lessons and accompanying PC content to help with his school guitar lessons. We have had a number of Dummies books over the years - some have proved helpful while others were dire, so we received this book with an open mind, hoping it would help our sons progress playing his guitar.

Being a beginner at playing the guitar and not able to afford personal guitar lessons, I looked to find whatever alternative help was available. I have found this product very helpful in the many phases of guitar playing.

As a guitarist of 16 years who learnt before the event of fancy media and the internet, these products hold a certain fascination for me!

so far so good I have learned the problem is not the product, but me the guitar player, I suck..

First disc was defective. Amazon quickly sent a replacement.
