Purchased this to use with, what I thought was a 400 watt roof heating mat. Found out the mat is 500 watts and therefore could be a problem using the smart outdoor plug. So we used it for Christmas lights outside and it is so easy to use and get set up. Now the lights are all controlled from inside, or anywhere, with my phone. Never had an outside smart plug before and now that is all I will be using.

This thing works great while it worked. I had it turning lights on and off for about 2 years and recently it completely crapped out. The relay inside I believe is the culprit. A $3 part (Hongfa 012-1H3AF) that failed in a $45 product. With average soldering skills you could probably replace it yourself. Electrical relays really should last longer than that though.

Got what we ordered and at a good price when promised. What more could you ask for! Well order from this vendor again.

On smarthings in particular the device seemed to respond to on off commands almost before our figure left the touch screen of the ios app! It also works with alexa and google home. Zwave plus is a cut above zigbee and of course knocks wifi out of the park. Additionally with zwave plus, sensors and switches like these have even lower power draw, extending your batteries further and saving you money! Both outlets are controlled together, (not independently) which is very key as most people use a splitter connected to their old 1 plug in models to do more than 1 lamp/appliance simultaneously. A great feature. If you have a choice between ge jasco zwave plus vrs anything else, zwave, zigbee, or a different company, do you self a different favour and stick with an industry leader with top quality products like this dual switch. Incredible quality, 1st in class!

Had one lamp with a 60W bulb attached and used just a few hours per week. Unit stopped working a little after two years. Expected more considering the price.

Works perfect, no complaints at all. I love that it lets you decide if you want the LED to display while its ON/OFF or even never, several other smart outlets I have tried in the past do not give you this control and the LED can be annoying when used in dark rooms. I would buy these again if u needed more

Will not go into program mode. More junk made in china

Perfect solution to my SmartThings issue., I could not operate a door lock, as it was too far from the hub.. I installed this control halfway between my hub and the lock and it functions as a repeater also.. ALL works now!
