> 3 dayThe Outdoor Switch was very easy to setup with my Z-wave hub and worked flawlessly with outdoor lights. My only complaints would be that it is a higher price than many smart outdoor switches and only has one outlet. Also, the cord is very stiff so tough to bend depending on how the outlet receptacle is positioned and may stick up instead of fall towards the wall. If cost were not an issue, I would recommend this product.

> 3 dayI purchased this expecting that two wirelessly controlled grounded outlets meant two _independently-controllable_ outlets. It does not. It is not mentioned anywhere in the text of this products description (although it is in fine print in the images lower on the page), but the two outlets on this device are only able to be controlled together. This was definitely a frustration. That fact should have been made more clear in the products description or the name. 2018 Addendum: I see that now the product name and description both clearly mention that the outlets are controlled _together_, which is nice.

> 3 dayWorks as advertised. Plugged it into our Low voltage lighting and its so much easier to program than timer switches. Also setup routines with other lights.

> 3 dayI used this product for the first time during the 2021 Christmas season. I controlled most of my outdoor lights with just one of these. It easily connected to my Hubitat Z-wave network. It worked flawlessly. It is constructed out of quality materials. One nice feature is the on/off, lighted button on the device that allows for easy testing without pulling out my phone and programmatically turning the device on/off. I would recommend this device for wireless, outdoor lighting control.

> 3 dayThis outlet is great, low profile with plugs on the side. Makes toggling my other less cooperative smart devices easier.

Greater than one weekEDIT: Please note that the seller has substituted a completely different product in this listing from the one I originally bought. This is generally done in order to artificially inflate ratings for a product. My review is in reference to an indoor plug. Any reviews here that do not specify they are for the outdoor plug do not apply. I bought a couple of these over a year ago and meant to write a review but never quite got around to it. They’re not fancy, just a couple of plugs, and have worked reliably all this time so I seldom even think about them. I needed another Z-Wave repeating device and these were in stock. But now that Samsung is sunsetting their Groovy platform and moving over to Edge drivers for all devices, I’ve been slowly migrating my devices manually. I excluded these, re-added them, and they were picked up by an Edge driver right away. So I guess I’ll go back to using and ignoring them for another year or two. Much as I love tinkering with my smart home stuff, sometimes it’s nice to have something you never need to mess with.

> 3 dayNot sure why some people are having issues with using this switch with Smarthings (other than when smarthings is having other issues). I have a Gen 1 that I have been using for over 2 years and now this Gen 2 and they both work with no problems at all. The Gen2 does not have the rubber plug to cover the outlet, so if you plan on leaving it mounted outside with nothing plugged in this could be a problem. I dont mount mine so not issue for me.
