Seems well made and durable. I applied spray on white lithium grease to the inside of the nozzle and cylinder. I did not have any trouble with solder sticking and it was ejected on the first try. Suction was excellent along with the heat resistance. I run my iron at about 550F. Very pleased with my purchase.

Solder sucker does an incredible job and cleans solder very well. It takes a bit of time to get used to using the device but once you get the hang of it, it works great. Only thing is that the manual said a spare silicone tip would be included but one did not come with my package at all which is slightly disappointing but not enough to knock this product down a star.

This is the most solid-feeling solder sucker in the shop. I bought one for one of our techs and ended up having to buy one for everyone else because they wanted to be cool, too. In any case, the soft silicone tip allows you to get right up on the area you need to remove solder. As others have said, solder ends up clogging the tip a bit, and occasionally youll need to stop and clean it out, and sometimes dismantle the sucker to kinda deep-clean it. But all the solder suckers Ive ever used also need this sort of attention. The one complaint is that the spring inside is very stiff, so youll need to really have a good grip on the thing (which is smaller than other solder suckers) in order to correctly depress the plunger. One final note: do not use this solder sucker with chip quik-type products, as it will really get stuck in the metal part of the nozzle and require some time-consuming cleaning.

Works amazing to suck out solder. Came with some extra plastic nozzles for the tip that you could probably make youself if you ran out. Cleaning is easy to do. Just unscrew and dump out the solder. Totally worth the price.

I have used many solder suckers and this is so far the best. The build quality is great. The feel is so good that I am playing with it even when not doing any soldering.

Being able to get the tip right on the solder joint is a game changer. This works better than any other solder sucker that I have used.

It worked surprisingly well. Skeptics should either buy this or pay someone to do it.

Beware of this type of solder sucker. The end goes flying at high speed when triggered. You could poke your eye out. Better ones have an enclosed plunger. Im surprised they are still selling this type. They were discontinued in the 1970s by most manufacturers.FWIW, I love my Engineer brand screw removal pliers.
