Engineer SS-02 Solder Suction Device

Ive used several different desoldering pumps before, but this one is by far the best Ive used. I followed the directions included in the packaging and cleared out solder around component legs on the first try. The construction is solid and not flimsy but also not excessively heavy.

I love this solder sucker as it does usually remove all of the solder needed in one go and it feels really nice but I do have one main issue almost everytime I remove solder I have to remove the silicone tip to pull solder stuck in the silicone top it seems to like to go into the top of the sucker but also solidify around the opening into the sucker which causes it to be cleaned virtually everytime you use it which definitely makes it an annoying tool to use I may be using it wrong if I am just let me know

Cheaply made copy of a real product. The red plunger button literally snapped off of the shaft where it narrows after a few months of light use. Buy the real one, this is garbage.

This works great for my occasional afternoon projects. I used it for desoldering keyboard switches and it did the job great. Just be sure to replace/clean the tip ever so often.

Works fantastic. Wish there was more nose tube included in the package. A lower heat makes it last longer but the lead free solder doesnt always give you that option.

This thing sucks. I melt the solder and this thing sucks it up. Nice tool to clean up extra solder or remove old solder from a hole.

Easy to use

Although I know that this sucker is worth every penny, I sure do wish that it was just a little less expensive.
