> 3 dayits absurd how well polished it is, i expected an aluminum tube with a bunch of plastic internals but its all aluminum, except for the spring which is of course steel. the outer parts are all anodized, theres no burrs anywhere, even in the threads and it even comes with, maybe a 2 inch length of spare silicone tubing, just in case you burn the end of the one it comes with somehow, you can cut it to length. From an ex machinists perspective, its damn near perfect.

> 3 dayI just finished removing a dozen components, resistors, caps and a dip socket. I was surprised & impressed with the quick ease of use of this Japan made solder sucker tool. Its small for its size but its very effective. Before this one- I used a blue.yellow Velloman model and always got iffy results. Nylon tips are just too awkward.. Plastic construction hindered maintaining a vacuum draw. Never liked them...This Tool is metal, high quality. Always develops a vacuum. Very well made. Of course you have to clean out the tip like any other tool but its a breeze with this one. I recommend this Tool to anyone, you wont regret the decision.

> 3 dayThis thing is great, solid construction, great suction, and easy to clean, works well for its intended application. Like any solder sucker, it takes some time and practice to get it done well. This is no exception, but the soft nose tube really makes creating a seal so much easier and I often have a perfect result first shot. What I would like is a thumb hook to make resetting easier. I think I could adapt something, but I dont use it enough to bother. I understand why they dont have one, as this would cause some people to hate it. Probably just easier for me to push it against the bottom of the bench to reset it. Anyway, good luck to anyone finding something better for the price, if you do Id like to know what it is.

> 3 dayIf you are using one of those super cheap blue solder suckers you should upgrade. This one has got quite a suction kick and you can get the silicone nozzle right at the solder point. Also ejects the sucked up solder regularly. Don’t know why I didn’t make this upgrade earlier!

> 3 dayI do classic game console modding and this thing is amazing. It sucks every drop of solder off the board. You have to be careful because it sucks my underwear right off of me!!!

> 3 dayWhile visually ugly, this is perhaps the best solder sucker Ive used in thirty years of being an electrical engineer.

> 3 daythis is the best manual hand solder sucker ive ever used. short of a electric vacuum sucker this works. small fits in your hand, yet has the suction to clear the hole.
