> 24 hourNot all silicone tapes are created equally. While this does a pretty good job, it doesnt seem to have the adhesive properties of the original. I recommend this cheaper version for low pressure applications or in the place of electrical tape, but will still use Rescue Tape for the more demanding applications.

> 24 hourThis stuff is fantastic. You have to pull it to activate the stickiness but once you figure that out, its the best tape ever. If you ever have a hose spring a leek, this stuff will fix it for longer than the life of a hose. If we have a leaky pipe, we wrap this guy around generously and it stops the leak. We live in Africa where the plumbing materials arent the best quality and plumbers are nonexistent. This stuff passes the Africa test so its handy to keep around you 1st world houses for little fixes here and there.

> 24 hourTried to repair leaks in garden soaker hoses. Low pressure application. Does not work. Tried several different times with different amounts of stretch. Goes on well but does not stop leaks. Water squirts out of tape in several places.

> 24 hourNot very strong, tears super easy. Used it to wrap a handle and the 1st time it rubbed against something it tore. Im sure theres uses for it... but dont expect anything spectacular.

> 24 hourThe first one I got and tried looked initially good and easy to use, however the next day I found that the tape unraveled itself not sure if this may have expired shelf life of what, I tried another piece this time I wrapped electrical tape over the thing and this time it worked ok. Not what I expected. :(

> 24 hourThis tape is quite simple amazing. Its excellent for wires, pipes, hoses, etc. Pretty much anything with a relatively rigid backing can use this tape. Pros: - STRONG! Works VERY well for the advertised uses. - Does not leave a residue when removed. - colors allow for color-coding items. Cons: - It really does need to stick to itself - so its not good for applications that require a strip of tape. - Because it needs to stick to itself, it does not lend itself to small (as in tiny) projects. They can be done, however it is a challenge. Overall great for electrical work, plumbing, other uses where you can wrap it around. MAKE SURE YOU STRETCH IT before use - otherwise it wont stick properly. Hope that helps.

> 24 hourSometimes it work and sometimes it doesnt. You definitely need to make sure you are working with a dry surface.

> 24 hourI wrapped the tape around a garden hose with a split. I went a couple inches past on each end so i had an 8 inch tape wrap when I was done. I even took smaller pieces and just warapped around a couple of times at each end afterward. I then turned the water on: water sprayed out one end of the repair, a big blister appeared in the repair, and then ... the middle just blew out!
