> 3 dayNot very strong, tears super easy. Used it to wrap a handle and the 1st time it rubbed against something it tore. Im sure theres uses for it... but dont expect anything spectacular.

> 3 dayThe tape is great. Stopped the leak from the bathroom sink drain eliminating the need to replace trap.

> 3 dayThe first one I got and tried looked initially good and easy to use, however the next day I found that the tape unraveled itself not sure if this may have expired shelf life of what, I tried another piece this time I wrapped electrical tape over the thing and this time it worked ok. Not what I expected. :(

> 3 dayI had no idea exactly what this tape did when I got some from another site just out of curiosity. But when I ran out of that tape, I was trying my best to find more!! This stuff is absolutely AMAZING!! It adheres to ITSELF so theres no stickiness to it - doesnt stick to itself and get twisted (like those sticky tapes do). And, because it is silicone, it fits into every nook and groove of whatever it is youre taping - like hoses for pond filters (that seem to leak no matter how many clamps you put on there along with regular duct tape or Gorilla tape, even plumbers tape). This stuff works its way into the grooves of that corrugated hosing and basically creates a SEAL because when you overlap the tape onto itself, THEN it sticks - to itself!! And it forms such an air tight seal, there is NO WAY youre going to be able to remove that tape the same way you put it on. Its basically formed into a big silicone plug and its not coming apart without some scissors or razor. But, isnt that what we want from a fix it tape? I will use this stuff for all of my projects that are water related and many that are not!!! WELL WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!!

> 3 dayTried to repair leaks in garden soaker hoses. Low pressure application. Does not work. Tried several different times with different amounts of stretch. Goes on well but does not stop leaks. Water squirts out of tape in several places.

18-11-2024Ive temporarily fixed an air hose (120+ psi), used as a grip on a slick handle, plastic water pipe (make sure its COMPLETELY dry though), and am still amazed how this stuff works! You should throw a roll in your tool box, just in case!!

> 3 dayMy first problem was removing the protective plastic-cant believe that they are so cheap to give you not enough to grab hold of- finally had to use needle nose pliers. The tape itself is flimsy- no thickness; flips around on itself; and one time while stretching it the tape broke. The tape is only 1 in width so it makes it difficult to cover much area. Finally, I used on a hose and it leaked. Better to stick to the good stuff- had none of these problems with the Amazon choice - A week later it would form bubble and then burst- a waste of time and money. X-Treme Tape TPE-XR1510ZLB Silicone Rubber Self Fusing Tape, 1.5 x 10. It may be more expensive but it will save you a great deal of frustration.

Greater than one weekThis tape seems to work well. I have used it very little but did wrap and electric wire that had a nick in the outer jacket.

> 3 dayI used about 5 feet of tape in trying to stop the leaking of a garden hose coupling. The water finds its way out of the tape, no matter what I do. From this experience I have to give this tape a negative rating. If the manufacturer can suggest a way to wrap the tape differently from its enclosed instructions, I would be happy to try it. If the method worked, I would be happy to give the tape a more favorable review.
