Update: After a month of no contact and no responses to my emails, Geek Aire suddenly sent me an email with only the words, Everything is set. When I asked what that meant, they said they were shipping me a replacement, which they did plus an extra charging cable. So, they ultimately did honor the warranty, albeit with terrible customer communication. Original review: This fan stopped holding a charge after less than a year. I contacted Geek Aire, because the company claims their products have a 1 year warranty. After they asked me to provide a bunch of information (model number, receipt of purchase, photo of the malfunctioning fan, etc.), they completely ghosted me! I left multiple voicemail messages and got no return phone call. I sent multiple emails and got no replies. Terrible company. Terrible customer service. The 1 year warranty is clearly a joke! They should be cited for deceptive advertising.

I highly recommend buying this fan. It charges quickly and pumps out the air. I use it for camping as well as a gigging musician. While camping, If I keep it on medium, the fan last all night with is a game changer in humid conditions. This fan will last me a four hour gig on stage on the highest setting. Its easy to change positions with my foot while on stage. Keeps me cool while the rest of the band is soaked in sweat. I have owned this fan for four months. It stopped charging and I got in touch with customer service. They literally had a new fan on my doorstep in four days from my first email. Great customer service. Fan is nice and quite. Well made and put together.

We live in an urban area with a surprising amount of mosquitos. I got the fan primarily to use when I sit on my balcony, to blow on me for heat reduction and to keep the bugs off me. They can’t fly very well into a breeze so it’s a great option if you don’t want to mess with repellants. So far it’s worked great for that purpose and I see it being our go to for indoor cooling as well. Maybe also if we need to shampoo a carpet or dry paint or glue for home projects. It’s the 10” size and great for my needs and lack of storage for anything bigger. The only con so far is that it can’t be left plugged in for more than 24 hours per the manual, so it will require some attention on my part to keep from burning our the battery.

I bought this fan 2 summers ago. I only use it during the summer when the temp get too high. I was using this fan for the first time this summer and within a couple of hours I could smell plastic burning. I’m so glad I was by the fan because next thing I knew it was sparking and bellowing smoke. Idk if it got over heated or gf faulty wiring, but I feel like this product should’ve lasted longer than 2 summers of occasional usage.

I purchased this for sleeping. I live very remote and lose electricity much too often. I need fan noise to sleep! Without it all I do is toss and turn. I honestly wish it made more noise, but that is actually a compliment to the fan. For the amount of air it moves I think it is very quiet! The build quality seems very nice and should easily hold up to getting knocked over or bumped around. Once I received it I charged it fully then turned it on high and started a timer. It seemed to keep the same high setting until the 4 hour mark. Now this was inside, so if it was outside with different conditions, maybe extreme heat, counter winds...perhaps it wont last quite as long. BUT...even when it slowed down at 4 hours, it seemed to run at about 50% for another 90 minutes. So Im guessing, at a 50% - 75% dial setting, it may run for 5 or 6 hours, maybe more. My reason for 4 stars and not 5 is the battery life. In this day and age, with battery technology, I would really like to see an extra battery or 2, or a different setup, and increase the run time to at least 6 - 8 hours on high, 10 - 12 on medium or low. It would not be hard to do. At $110 or $90 with a coupon, I think it should run longer. Even though I only purchased this for sleeping during power outages, I think this will definitely get use this summer for outdoor events. I would recommend this fan.

I got this fan for the same reason anyone buys a fan. It does its job and it does it well. Pros: Decent battery life for the cfm at lower levels great portability easy to use and operate Cons: the caps that are supposed to help make the fan IXP4 water resistent Keep falling off during use Long Recharge time (though there is nothing the company can do about it) The Knobs that hold the fan in one place loosen over time or when you try and adjust it I work the dish tank at a restaurant And when the machine is running, the dish hose spraying, and the all the grills on it gets pretty hot. I got this fan so that i could put it wherever I want it with the batter, so it would be fine if some random bit of water got on it and so i could be cool at least most of the day. Good fan just dont expect miracles

I love this fan! 12, sturdy metal blades and construction, good battery life, and attractive. This has been en incredible useful in my storage unit, working my my car in the driveway, and around the house this very hot summer. Im impressed with how quiet it is and yet it moves a surprising amount of air for its size. I kove the fully analog speed control. Smooth, seemingly infinite speed Co trol with no not-quite-right speeds. Its pricy, but I do not regret the purchase.

We bought this fan to take with us on a road trip. Sleeping with a fan (for noise and breeze) at home every night, we know that not having one in our hotel would have resulted in a significant loss of sleep/rest. This fan although not as loud as the one in our bedroom, produced plenty of sound and breeze to ensure a rest as good as the hotel mattress would allow. So far, we have only used it for a few minutes while only the power of the batteries. When unplugging the unit, no slowing was noticed. The size of this fan is perfect for travel. Were it any smaller it would not have produced the desired breeze. Were it any larger, it would have been too large for reasonable luggage. Overall, we are 5-star pleased. If a problem with the durability of the fan - or any unexpected deficiency - should arise within a short time-span, then I will update the review to reflect that.

Update: This sat in our RV for a year, getting to slightly below freezing in the winter to over 100° in the summer. It was not fully charged when we stored it, but I dont know what level it was. Today I pulled it out and it started putting out a breeze. I plugged it in, and it is over 60% charged, even after sitting for a year! More impressed now than when we first bought it! It works great for moving air around the RV on hot nights when we dont have power. Its a game-changer for summer boondocking! We bought this for warm nights boondocking in our travel trailer or in our tent. When it arrived, it was about 60% charged. I plugged it in and waited for all lights to go off, indicating a full charge. I then set it on the lowest speed and let it run. 25 hours later, the red light began to blink, indicating it needed a charge! I had not expected that kind of battery life! Another 2 hours on the charger, and back to full charge again. Im excited to have a solution to move a little air when were away from electricity!
