> 3 dayI go to a lot of music festivals where I end up camping in a field in the middle of summer. This thing is worth every penny. High output, low noise, long-lasting battery. When it arrived, I did a full charge and put it on the lowest setting. The battery lasted over 48 hours. I couldnt believe it. At mid to high settings, its great for relief from the midday sun. On the low setting, you can stay cool in your tent when the sun comes up in the morning.

> 3 dayI Brought this on a 5 week, 8500 mile cross country road trip where every night or other night was in a different hotel. Having a portable fan in my face at night is helpful for sleep, and this thing really did the job. On a medium speed setting the battery always lasted the entire night, and the 12” size was perfect for setting up anywhere. The housing construction is solid, this is not a piece of crap. Looking forward to using it outside next Spring to help keeps the bugs away.

> 3 dayThe good news is this a beautiful looking, super-portable, long-lasting battery operated fan for indoor or outdoor use. The bad news is despite calling it a hurricane fan, its simply not that powerful compared to the Vornado model 723 which costs significantly less (but has to be plugged in to work). The really bad news is that the fan refuses to stay at the angle I adjust it to. It stays that way for a few minutes at most before going back to the angle it prefers. Iv e tried tightening the height control knobs, and they simply dont work right. The fan is otherwise decent, but not powerful enough to get you through heatwave with no A/C. I would not buy this fan again. Get a Vornado model 723. Now thats power, plus its built like a tank and stays where you aim it. If you are going camping, or to the beach, or just doing outdoor stuff anywhere, or youre in a summer time power outage, then this fan makes sense--especially since it doesnt have to be plugged in once its been charged. It puts out a pretty good amount of air for several hours, but because it wont stay where you aim it, that kind of defeats the purpose.

> 3 dayI thought this portable fan would have a better breeze of air as it was advertised. I have to put it practically on top of me to feel the air flow. Disappointed.

> 3 dayThere is seriously only 1 thing I hate about this fan. Y Oh cannot remove the faceplate! There is no way to clean the inside of the fan. I have 2 dogs and this fan is on top of a 3.5 foot dresser (not directly taking air in at hog height) and every 2-3 months it gets so caked up with dog hair I had to spend another $60 to get a vacuum/blower crevice tool and it takes about 45 mins - 1 hour to clean the majority of the hair out. I have the smaller yellow version and you can remove the faceplate for easy clean up, so I may invest in a mesh screen to catch it on the back before it is sucked in.
