> 24 hourI rec’d this yesterday and immediately read all the instructions since some users were having a few problems. Without turning it on, I plugged it in and it showed 60% battery. Fig. it would take abt. an hr. to FULLY charge the battery since it had more than 1/2 charge. It was fully charged after abt. an hr. (I didn’t time this, it’s purely an estimate.) I have taken pics to show the battery indicator when I rec’d it, when it’s fully charged (no lights are on), and when it’s running. I like that you have the choice of either using it plugged in OR on the battery. I will say that the directions tell you NOT to leave it plugged in to charge the battery longer than 24 hrs.! (I’m thinking mb some ppl left their fans plugged in while not being used and essentially ruined their rechargeable battery!) I’m planning on unplugging my fan if I’m not using electrically and then only charging for a few hrs. until the battery is full. I like its weight and portability. Plan on using it all the time! I think you can tell I’m already a big “fan” of this product.

> 24 hourI was expecting the fan to be plastic, but ended up being a metal chasis and metal fan. It’s incredibly sturdy and somehow super light. The fan has a gradual knob to increase/decrease fan speed. The battery charges fast, and the warranty is extended for a total of 3 year warranty for free. Highly recommend.

> 24 hourUPDATE: Its been almost 1.5 years, Ive used this a lot and now its dead. I plugged it in last night and nothing. If this wasnt almost $100 I wouldnt be too upset that it only lasted that long. But for that price I would have hoped to have this for much longer. It worked great when it worked but now its a big paper weight. I ordered this to initially use when camping. I use it all the time! Its convenient to take outside when in your yard on a hot day, or to use at night for a breeze and some white noise. The fan isnt really doesnt produce a lot of noise and the charge does last quite a while. If you charge it and run it on high it will last 2 - 3 hours. On a lower speed you are looking at 8 or so hours. The only thing I dont like about it, and it could just be mine, is that when you charge the lights flash on top. At night those lights are bright. Then, when its fully charged, it doesnt stop flashing and just keep the 3 lights on...the last one flashes FOREVER. At first I thought it wasnt fully charging, but it is. It just likes to flash that 3rd light whenever its plugged in. However, with that being said I think this fan is incredible. I recommend it for anyone, like me, that gets hot no matter what time of year. Its a perfect size fan to really stay cool when youre hot.

> 24 hourI initially bought 2 of the 12-inch fans to use while traveling or in case of a power outage during our hot Texas summers. Theyre incredible! Theyre expensive but I think here, you get what you pay for. Theyre very quiet, very durable, and appear to be of high-quality material. They came very well packaged. There is a dial knob to control the level of airflow rather than just 3 settings you adjust. I also love that the panel on the back shows approximately how charged the fan is (in increments of 20), so you can tell when the juice is getting low. Ive tested out the settings to see how long the fan will run on a single charge. The box says up to 20 hours, and while this may be true...it would have to be barely turned on to last that long in my experience. It does hold a charge very well though considering how great the output is on medium to high settings. On full blast, the fan runs for about 5.5 hours. By the way, it puts out a surprising amount of air on high setting. On a medium setting, which still has really great airflow, the fan runs for approximately 8 hours or so. I havent tested on low setting because that doesnt put out much air, though obviously better than nothing if you need some air movement. My old dog has been sitting in front of this fan since I got it. Its come in handy several places where I needed a little air movement but wasnt near a wall plug. Theyd be great to take anyway outdoors. They were such a hit in my house, I bought my brothers family one for Fathers Day. I figured they might want it for those scorching kids baseball games. He texted me saying it came in handy during the last games. In fact, my sister-in-laws family was at the last game and after seeing their fan, they also bought one.

> 24 hourI ordered this fan to use on the patio. It was delivered much sooner than expected. Which was great! Not complicated to charge or operate. Charged in less than 2 hours. The picture shows it is as tall as the seat on a chair and about as wide as the chair. On the patio, it provided a strong stream of air that was felt from 10 feet away. The only complaint I have is that it would not stay directed in one area. No matter how tight I adjusted the knobs in the side of the frame, the fan still moved upward. I did not want to strip the knob screws, so I tied a string to the fan grill and attached it to the frame to keep it headed in the direction I want. I just have to loosen or tighten the string to change fan direction. You would think for $200, the fan would have a better system for directionality. Overall, I am happy with the power and portability. It is not heavy and can use about anywhere. The directions said not to use liquids to clean, so I would not leave this fan out in the rain. Im hoping it will last a long time. It is guaranteed for one year.

> 24 hourId give it 6 stars if I could. Got the 12 metal one for sitting on the patio and camping in the heat--now Ive been using it indoors when I work out, come in from the heat, or my wife just turns the thermostat too high--not having to plug it in makes it very convenient. It blows a lot of air for one person from up to about 4 away; the cone is too focus to really hit multiple people unless they are very close together. On highest, moving that much air isnt going to be silent indoors, but its as quiet as any 12 fan Ive heard and not enough to be annoying. Battery life is excellent. Ive run it for at least 6 hours on the highest setting and still had over 20% charge. Build quality is excellent--its nearly entirely metal (including the grill and legs, not just the blade), who makes things out of metal anymore? Its even held together by Philips screws, not rivets or glue.

> 24 hourWhy 4 stars? It’s not very powerful but works for me on my deck as a personal fan. Very quiet. Durable. Easy to move around and adjust. If you need a forceful breeze check out their larger models.
