> 3 dayThey are just as fast as Samsung 870s, a 1/3 the price, and if youre worried someone will judge you for buying a knock off then you need better friends.

> 3 dayI bought and installed two 2-TB NVME M.2 Fanxiang SSDs into my ASUS x570 Gaming Plus Wifi desktop computer (Ryzen 12 core CPU and 64GB ram) 5 months ago and they have worked flawlessly with Ubuntu 22.04 linux formatted in either EXT4 or BTRFS (I tried both formats). I just bought this 2-TB SATA Fanxiang SSD an and attached to a SATA3 on the same machine and it too has been working great. Performance with it has been around 550 MB/s ... which is what I expected.

> 3 dayIts unbelievable that we can buy SSDs for this cheap price nowadays. Now, we need m2 ssd prices to come down.

> 3 dayThese 512gb are replacements for the PNY 240s I have. The PNYs have been failing at around 24 months. I hesitated to get 512gb because the recovery process is much harder and most of the recovered files are corrupted. Something about the type of failure that isnt present in the older IDE drives. Chip corruption is different. Speed is OK, but backup to a solid and proven source often.

> 3 dayThe product arrived on time. It plugged into the external drive case fine and started to work right away. I use it as a second hard drive in a laptop for file sharing. This SSD is faster than an HDD. I installed other Fanxiang SSDs in other PCs and will likely purchase more for other systems.

> 3 dayI cannot attest to heavy performance from PC gaming, but I did install this on my original Xbox and.. yeah, im really impressed. Couple this with Cerbios and UDMA-5.. really nice experience for the price.

> 3 dayTwo issues. 1) Its oddly a slightly larger size than my last SSD by 1.5mm height and 1mm width, a Samsung 860 EVO. It would not fit in the SSD cage for my BeQuiet 802 case. I had to cable tie it in place. 2) The connections were upside down compared to my last SSD also. That part actually works in my favor, making the power connection and SATA cable easier. Yet, without the cage, I could turn the drive upside down if I wanted anyway. No problems so far in its performance, but only had it for a month at time of this review. I use it to hold all my games, and the load time is so much faster than my normal SATA harddrive.

Greater than one weekThe product was much lighter than my OCZ drives but I guess that makes sense for the era. Installed one in an Optiplex 790 configured for Hauptwerk. Cut boot time from 2:45 to 1:05 which includes loading Hauptwerk. Performance was significantly improved. Benchmarks were in the claimed range bearing in mind that this is a 10yr old mini PC. The second was in a Lenovo S30, RAID, 32Gig RAM, Nvidia Quatro, Xeon. Performed better in this system the old HDD drives just were not cutting it, but this SSD solved the latency issues. Good job!
