fanxiang S101 1TB SSD SATA III 6Gb/s 2.5 Internal Solid State Drive, Read Speed up to 550MB/sec, Compatible with Laptop and PC Desktops(Black)

I bought and installed two 2-TB NVME M.2 Fanxiang SSDs into my ASUS x570 Gaming Plus Wifi desktop computer (Ryzen 12 core CPU and 64GB ram) 5 months ago and they have worked flawlessly with Ubuntu 22.04 linux formatted in either EXT4 or BTRFS (I tried both formats). I just bought this 2-TB SATA Fanxiang SSD an and attached to a SATA3 on the same machine and it too has been working great. Performance with it has been around 550 MB/s ... which is what I expected.

For the price its great. It is not as fast as most expensive SSDs but it is a good value for the price. Works as fast as I need.

Have had it for a month now and it has been working fine. Cant complain!

I bought a refurbished laptop for about $150 a few years ran fine for a few months then began to have terrible lag install more memory and this SSD and now the laptop is almost a gaming beast

Great for resellers, these work well. And they have a great price tag.

Old computers are now still old but quicker on boot and other stuff.

This is actually a 256Gb drive unlike the 128Gb I received last time. Didnt know it wasnt 256Gb until I went to install it in a customers laptop. That is why I am sending the 128Gb back.

At first it it did not work but I reformatted it and works great on my Xbox one
