> 3 dayMy PC is formatting this drive at a block rate of around 300mbps which is pretty standard. Formatting at this rate will take a little over an hour and I will monitor the drives temperature and test transfer rate. Im going to go ahead and install an OS on the drive because I think it will perform better as a primary drive. I will send a follow up review later. The following days I installed my os and got my games running. I immediately noticed that so programs are running better and faster. The os boots up in less than 30 seconds. Read write rate is around 540mbps. ***Update*** its been a few weeks. This hard drive is running as my primary hard drive and is running stabily and normally so far. I notice no heat issues or slowness in fact my PC is about 60% faster than it was with the standard hard drive. Im extremely happy with my purchase. ***One Month Update** It has been almost a month and I am using this SSD drive as my primary drive. I have since upgraded memory and processor as well and all is functioning very well.

Greater than one weekI have a 7 year old laptop that has a SATA harddrive and after I upgraded to Windows 10 from Windows 7, my laptop got extremely slow, to the point where it was almost unusable, simple tasks took forever. So I bought this SATA SSD and did an upgrade and it works well thus far. I did a fresh install of Windows 10 on the SSD and I removed the cdrom and put the old harddrive in a caddy that fits in the CD-ROM slot. My laptop is now alot faster and feels good as new.

> 3 dayThe drive worked as expected with windows 10. Will see how it performs over time. The price was reasonable.

Greater than one weekIt works but the speed is way too low compared to other SSDs. The attached pictures shows my old QNine with the Ranxiana, Both through a USB 3.0 adapter. The Ranxiana is nearly 10 times slower. It is going back. UPDATE: I tried with a USB3.0 to SSD adapter instead of the SSD to USB C to USB3.0 and the result is totally different. Still slower than my other drivers but usable (see third attached picture). I did order a Western digital to put in my Lenovo instead and will keep this one for external general storage. At that price still a good deal. = I did cancel the return.

> 3 dayTwo issues. 1) Its oddly a slightly larger size than my last SSD by 1.5mm height and 1mm width, a Samsung 860 EVO. It would not fit in the SSD cage for my BeQuiet 802 case. I had to cable tie it in place. 2) The connections were upside down compared to my last SSD also. That part actually works in my favor, making the power connection and SATA cable easier. Yet, without the cage, I could turn the drive upside down if I wanted anyway. No problems so far in its performance, but only had it for a month at time of this review. I use it to hold all my games, and the load time is so much faster than my normal SATA harddrive.
