> 3 dayI needed a second drive to dual-boot my laptop into Windows 10 or 11. The laptop had an open drive bay so installation was a breeze . Boot is as quick or quicker than the original built-in drive and I now have triple the storage, or enough space to boot to Linux.

> 3 dayBought this 1 TB SSD to replace slower spinner 500 GB on board. Also ordered one stick of 4GB SODimm to round out max to 8 GB Ram by adding this 2nd stick to pair with the existing 4 GB. Already performed disc clone from old to new. Havent added SSD to PC yet. Ill crack it open when RAM arrives next few days.

> 3 dayMy PC is formatting this drive at a block rate of around 300mbps which is pretty standard. Formatting at this rate will take a little over an hour and I will monitor the drives temperature and test transfer rate. Im going to go ahead and install an OS on the drive because I think it will perform better as a primary drive. I will send a follow up review later. The following days I installed my os and got my games running. I immediately noticed that so programs are running better and faster. The os boots up in less than 30 seconds. Read write rate is around 540mbps. ***Update*** its been a few weeks. This hard drive is running as my primary hard drive and is running stabily and normally so far. I notice no heat issues or slowness in fact my PC is about 60% faster than it was with the standard hard drive. Im extremely happy with my purchase. ***One Month Update** It has been almost a month and I am using this SSD drive as my primary drive. I have since upgraded memory and processor as well and all is functioning very well.

> 3 dayThe product was much lighter than my OCZ drives but I guess that makes sense for the era. Installed one in an Optiplex 790 configured for Hauptwerk. Cut boot time from 2:45 to 1:05 which includes loading Hauptwerk. Performance was significantly improved. Benchmarks were in the claimed range bearing in mind that this is a 10yr old mini PC. The second was in a Lenovo S30, RAID, 32Gig RAM, Nvidia Quatro, Xeon. Performed better in this system the old HDD drives just were not cutting it, but this SSD solved the latency issues. Good job!

Greater than one weekOriginally bought for my business laptop. Worked so well I got one for my hubby’s. Was easy to install and is much faster than the old hard drives I replaced with this drive. I don’t save a lot of videos so the size was good for me but I’d suggest getting a drive with more storage for those who download lots of videos

Greater than one weekI had an old secondary laptop that was dragging with an 5400 rpm HDD. Rather than upgrading to a new laptop, I decided to give an SSD upgrade a try. I am completely satisfied with the result. The laptop now boots almost instantaneously with no lag swapping/opening programs. For less than $20, I feel like I have a new laptop. Outside of YouTubing how to open the laptop, installation was a breeze and the SSD fit exactly as it should. Installation of OS and Programs was superfast. Time will tell longevity of the no name brand, but Im not terribly concerned after watching multiple video reviews.

> 3 dayIt’s easy to install and you can transfer data really fast to it but it’s doesn’t have the exact capability, I bought the 1TB but it only has like 987GB on it
