> 3 dayI had never had a fanxiang drive before and was a little skeptic of using an unknow ( to me ) drive, but it has functioned perfectly so far.

Greater than one weekPros: (1) I verified that the capacity really is 512GB by writing 512107741184 bytes (as monotonically increasing 64-bit chunks) to it while calculating a sha256 hash of the data, then reading it back from the drive. Same hash. If the drive was actually smaller but faking a 512GB capacity, the hash could not match. (2) The drive is much faster than the old 7200rpm SATA drive it replaced. (3) I was able to install Fedora 35 on it in a Dell E6410 laptop. (4) The laptop feels much faster and more responsive, well worth the $22. Cons: (1) The SATA connector does not make reliable contact in the laptop because the drive is thinner than the older 2.5 inch drive it replaced. The drive caddy has trouble holding it at the correct angle for reliable contact. A thin shim is required to build up the drive thickness to the original spec. (2) The warranty void if removed labels on the long edge of the drive make the drive too wide to slide into the Dell drive bay. The labels become scraped off along the edge where they fold over. The 2.5 inch drive dimensions spec does not permit labels on this edge. Hey Fanxiang? Put those labels elsewhere.

> 3 dayIt’s easy to install and you can transfer data really fast to it but it’s doesn’t have the exact capability, I bought the 1TB but it only has like 987GB on it

> 3 dayIt was a flawless conversion from hard drive to ssd. The story goes I was having PS3 hard drive related issues, so I figured I might as well buy an new one but instead get a ssd. A cheap 20 bucks later I installed it and reinstalled the ps3 software via USB drive. Thats all it needed, it was up and running faster and smoother than new ! Like it makes all the difference no lag spikes, no frame drops, no crashes, and games and files download and play in a 1/3 of the orginal time. Goes without saying that this was an amazing $20 upgrade. I think I might just get another for my second ps3 now that I know the speed increase of this ssd.
