Finish Dual Action Dishwasher Cleaner: Fight Grease & Limescale, Fresh, 8.45oz

We had calcium buildup in our GE dishwasher. The racks were difficult to slide out. The wheels squeaked and some stopped turning. There was a white film on the racks and surfaces. We used this product one time and our dishwasher looks and works new again! It’s disappointing that one Finish product creates the issue and another Finish product fixes it.

I’ve ordered this before and the product works really well. However I had an issue this time with how it was sent. It arrived leaking and with crusty residue all over the bottle and box.

Tried to run dishwasher on hottest water with dish washer detergent and did not work well enough. I bought this dishwasher cleaner and it does clean almost all the dirt accumulated at the filter but do not expect perfection.

Ive used this product many times always using the hottest and pots and pans cycle on the dishwasher. Afterwards there is still a film I need to clean off the inside of the door which is silver metal. Ive also stopped using their pods and liquid soap for better quality.

I guess it cleaned okay. I usually just add a bit of bleach, but thought Id try it.

I do like this product. I think it does clean your dishwasher nicely. The only complaint I have is the smell. It leaves a gross smell for a couple washes after.

A bottle a month keeps the repairman away.

Now granted, I live in a rental so Im not sure what this dishwasher smelled like new, but Ive been to big box stores and it smelled similar to those machines. It was super simple to use the cleaner with the instructions on the bottle. You should definitely still clean out the filter on the dishwasher to make sure its fully clean. Thats it...follow the instructions and your dishwasher wont smell terrible.

We just got a new dishwasher after almost a decade of the previous machine. The new dishwasher is kinda fancy and has a clean cycle. It is very easy to use and it works! The typical suggestion for dishwasher cleaning is to clean the filter every 2 weeks and the tub every 30 days OR 30 washes. No more lime scale, no more sour smell, and no more worrying about caring for the expensive dishwasher. I have this product set up on a Subscribe and Save so I dont even pay attention to the date or the washes. When it comes--the next time the dishes are emptied I run a clean cycle. Mindless yet effective. I highly recommend.
