> 3 dayHigh quality build. Beautiful finish. The instructions are well written and make assembly easy. The preamplifier is more than adequate for a medium to large room. The cartridge is a very good one, and came well aligned and free of distortion problems. Extra cables are included to allow for a variety of applications. We matched it with Edifier R1280T speakers and are very pleased with the sound in an 18 x 30 room with 8 ceiling. It is an excellent value for the price.

> 3 dayIf you are new to vinyl and turntables, this would be a great turntable to start with. I would recommend upgrading the stylus (needle) to the Ortofon 2M Red Cartridge as soon as possible. The stylus it arrives with will not give you the highest sound quality but it will be mid range sound quality.

> 3 dayBeautiful record player with great sound. Easy to set up. Definitely a great option for those not wanting to spend a fortune, but wanting more than an entry level player.

> 3 dayFirst let me say that I love this turntable. I noticed the needle cartridge was almost touching the record when it played, even after setting the counterweight. In less than 30 days the needle broke off. I ordered a new needle and the new cartridge doesnt even come close to touching the record. I do believe the needle that cant installed was damaged. The replacement cost $50. If you notice this with your order I would let the seller know asap.

Greater than one weekIve been limping along with my 70s era ELAC turntable and spent more on repairs than its worth. A friend had purchased the Audio Technica LP120 and I really liked that turntable and was ready to pull the trigger on buying one. But, then I found a review on the Fluance RT81. The AT really had a lot of features I liked, such as the USB, but the Fluance just looks better.

Greater than one weekObviously high quality design, materials, and construction; very clear assembly instructions; trouble-free operation and fine sound. It would be nice if there were an automatic tone-arm return upon reaching the end of a side, but not worth compromising any of the other features of the product.
