High quality build. Beautiful finish. The instructions are well written and make assembly easy. The preamplifier is more than adequate for a medium to large room. The cartridge is a very good one, and came well aligned and free of distortion problems. Extra cables are included to allow for a variety of applications. We matched it with Edifier R1280T speakers and are very pleased with the sound in an 18 x 30 room with 8 ceiling. It is an excellent value for the price.

If you are new to vinyl and turntables, this would be a great turntable to start with. I would recommend upgrading the stylus (needle) to the Ortofon 2M Red Cartridge as soon as possible. The stylus it arrives with will not give you the highest sound quality but it will be mid range sound quality.

Beautiful record player with great sound. Easy to set up. Definitely a great option for those not wanting to spend a fortune, but wanting more than an entry level player.

First let me say that I love this turntable. I noticed the needle cartridge was almost touching the record when it played, even after setting the counterweight. In less than 30 days the needle broke off. I ordered a new needle and the new cartridge doesnt even come close to touching the record. I do believe the needle that cant installed was damaged. The replacement cost $50. If you notice this with your order I would let the seller know asap.

Only complaint is the box has the player advertised on it. Not great for security purposes

    Greater than one week

Ive been limping along with my 70s era ELAC turntable and spent more on repairs than its worth. A friend had purchased the Audio Technica LP120 and I really liked that turntable and was ready to pull the trigger on buying one. But, then I found a review on the Fluance RT81. The AT really had a lot of features I liked, such as the USB, but the Fluance just looks better.

Obviously high quality design, materials, and construction; very clear assembly instructions; trouble-free operation and fine sound. It would be nice if there were an automatic tone-arm return upon reaching the end of a side, but not worth compromising any of the other features of the product.

Fluance’s RT81 High Fidelity Turntable plays traditional LP and EP vinyl records with stunning quality that achieves the purest sound reproduction. When you want the absolute best in music performance, pull out your favorite 33 1/3 or 45 RPM records, hook up your sound system, drop the needle, and immerse yourself in the Fluance RT81 Record Player. Your soul will be captivated by the crisp, distinguishing characteristics of the music you love. Premium components allow this belt driven turntable to produce a pure uncompressed listening experience that recreates the performance the way the artist intended.

Superior Stylus Makes for a Pure Analog Listening Experience
Your music will sound richer when the Audio Technica AT95E stylus rests in the grooves of your favorite vinyl record at a mere 2.0 grams of tracking force. The upgraded elliptical stylus is renowned for its freedom from noise and distortion, clarity on musical peaks, and channel balance.

Complete Clarity Without Compromising Your Collection
You"ll savor every note thanks to the balanced and adjustable counterweight of the S-Type tonearm. The fluid movement of the bearings within the tonearm coupled with the advanced anti-skating system practically caresses your record, preventing scratching and ensuring the stylus is perfectly rested deep in your record’s groove while splendidly coaxing the music out of your vinyl.

Premium Components
Captivating signal clarity is produced with a high quality Texas Instruments preamp, ground terminal and gold plated RCA line outputs that ensures high fidelity sound in its truest form.

Designed for Serious Performance

The walnut finished cabinet is crafted from solid audio-grade (MDF) wood which reduces vibrations to ensure the stylus provides the best possible signal. Sound isolation feet, an aluminum platter and a Rubber Platter Mat significantly reduce reverberation, leaving you with pure stereophonic sound.
