I bought this turntable because I was getting into vinyl more seriously. I did not know much at the time, and learn a lot since, hence my reserves with the rt81.

Ive given it a few months and am very happy with my decision. Fully auto would have been nice, but Im content without it. Very attractive and easy to operate.

The turntable itself sounded great for the several hours I got to spend listening to it. It also looks beautiful, its just a shame mine was one of the many which has a defective motor. I was so sold on it in the first few hours that Ill be out of a turntable now that Im sending this back, as I already got rid of my old one. If you buy this to replace an old table, please keep your table until youve used this for a few days.

Fairly easy setup, although balancing the tone arm took a little time. All in all though a really good turntable for the price.

I bought this turntable as a gift to myself as I am reviving my vinyl collection. The turntable is very easy to set up and the pre-mounted cartridge is a breeze to install. Ive had mine for several months and have really enjoyed it. One thing to note however is the tonearm does not return back to the cradle once the album is finished. It simply shuts off at the end of the record. Not a big deal but worth mentioning if you think its a fully automatic turntable. The plinth is very nice. I thought about upgrading to an Ortofon cartridge but decided to enjoy this table just like it is.

This is a beautiful record player for someone trying to start in vinyl record playing. This unit is easy to set up, just follow the instructional video of Fluance on YouTube. The materials used are exceptional and it seems like it would last for years; the plinth is heavy and the other parts such as the tone arm is exceptionally rigid. The sound is warm, but it seems kind of on the low end for the volume, need to raise the volume of my receiver. The included audio cable and ground wire is too short, so I have to replace it. All in all, I am quite satisfied with this player and would recommend to others to buy it. In the future I would upgrade the stylus to a nude elliptical one for a more definite sound.

Fluance’s RT81 High Fidelity Turntable plays traditional LP and EP vinyl records with stunning quality that achieves the purest sound reproduction. When you want the absolute best in music performance, pull out your favorite 33 1/3 or 45 RPM records, hook up your sound system, drop the needle, and immerse yourself in the Fluance RT81 Record Player. Your soul will be captivated by the crisp, distinguishing characteristics of the music you love. Premium components allow this belt driven turntable to produce a pure uncompressed listening experience that recreates the performance the way the artist intended.

Superior Stylus Makes for a Pure Analog Listening Experience
Your music will sound richer when the Audio Technica AT95E stylus rests in the grooves of your favorite vinyl record at a mere 2.0 grams of tracking force. The upgraded elliptical stylus is renowned for its freedom from noise and distortion, clarity on musical peaks, and channel balance.

Complete Clarity Without Compromising Your Collection
You"ll savor every note thanks to the balanced and adjustable counterweight of the S-Type tonearm. The fluid movement of the bearings within the tonearm coupled with the advanced anti-skating system practically caresses your record, preventing scratching and ensuring the stylus is perfectly rested deep in your record’s groove while splendidly coaxing the music out of your vinyl.

Premium Components
Captivating signal clarity is produced with a high quality Texas Instruments preamp, ground terminal and gold plated RCA line outputs that ensures high fidelity sound in its truest form.

Designed for Serious Performance

The walnut finished cabinet is crafted from solid audio-grade (MDF) wood which reduces vibrations to ensure the stylus provides the best possible signal. Sound isolation feet, an aluminum platter and a Rubber Platter Mat significantly reduce reverberation, leaving you with pure stereophonic sound.
