I’ve had the Fluance RT-81 for a few weeks now, which is enough to form a considered opinion. It’s a really, really good turntable, and pretty much a steal at $250.

Love this turntable, in particular that it has the built in amp. Easy to use!!!

The package and mounting instructions were perfect. A little bit tricky (as it should be) to balance the arm, but once done it works like a charm and the sound is good. It was a gift for my girlfriend and she liked it a lot.

Build quality is excellent.

Ive been limping along with my 70s era ELAC turntable and spent more on repairs than its worth. A friend had purchased the Audio Technica LP120 and I really liked that turntable and was ready to pull the trigger on buying one. But, then I found a review on the Fluance RT81. The AT really had a lot of features I liked, such as the USB, but the Fluance just looks better.

Bought this for my wife for christmas. We couldnt wait and opened it early. It sounds amazing connected to a pair of klipsch r-41pms. 10/10 would recommend buying.

Assembly went well with no problem. First play flawless. Fit right with very old component stereo system. Rediscovered old jazz albums from long ago. It should be noted that the packing design was by an artist. I knew I had made a good choice before I saw the turntable.

Obviously high quality design, materials, and construction; very clear assembly instructions; trouble-free operation and fine sound. It would be nice if there were an automatic tone-arm return upon reaching the end of a side, but not worth compromising any of the other features of the product.

LOVE it. Its perfect for our Airbnb. I didnt want to spend a ton, but wanted something better than a cheap suitcase-style player. This was fairly easy to set-up, thanks to the video instructions on YouTube. I got the matching speakers and we were playing records in no time! So fun. And it looks awesome!
