> 3 dayIve had this turntable for only a couple of weeks now but so far Ive really enjoyed it. I have it paired with a set of Edifier R1850DB bookshelf speakers and the sound is wonderful. Im going to upgrade the stylus to an Ortofon 2m red but the AT95E cartridge that comes with it is quite capable.

> 3 dayGot my RT81 on Amazon about three years ago. LOVED it: beautiful, gorgeous, glossy walnut, solid plinth, auto stop. The AT95E is no giant-killer, but the stylus can be easily upgraded w/o buying a new cartridge. The tonearm/platter are not well isolated from, well, anything really. Even on a chunk of marble, any thump or bump to the plinth or its support comes right through the speakers.

Greater than one weekI bought this TT as a stand in while I shop for an audiophile level unit. I am giving it 5 stars for its quality to price range. It looks great, easy set up and has great sound for the money. I cannot image finding a TT that sounds better than. This for $250. Also note it has a phono/line out switch so you can use it on a system that does not have a photo stage, although it sounds better using the phono out.
