> 24 hourWell built, gorgeous piece of equipment. Hardest part was setting up tonearm/cartridge. But, once that was done it was time to sit back and enjoy the music.

> 24 hourI started with an inherited collection and a suitcase player. Once I decided to get into this expensive hobby, I spend the 300 for this one. This has all the gizmos you need to play 180 gram records, most of the new pressed records, without it skipping. I tried to play Tron Legacy, my first bought vinyl, on a suitcase player and it would skip across the record. With this turntable, skipping was gone. The reason I say to spend the money on this one as your first true turntable is because of its upgrade capabilities. If you decide to really get into it, you can upgrade the needle, tonearm, even the platter. Its a good future proof player. The sound is great with the supplied cartridge(needle). The only thing youll have to invest in is a preamp. This turntable does not come with one built into it. You can find one in any budget but the sound will reflect the price you pay. Ive been told the Art DJ II is a good budge choice (beware the bright LED light). I use a Douk x1 that has a preamp built in and it sounds good. If you want to listen to more than a bunch of records given to you on a suitcase player, get this one. Its the perfect entry level player into the very expensive world of Hi-Fi audio. And invest in a record cleaner and needle cleaner! Clean those old records BEFORE you put them on this player!

> 24 hourWow. What an amazing turntable. I upgraded from an older Sony PS-LX4 and the difference in sound is unbelievable. You can tell Fluance put a lot of thought and care into this product. Everything about this turntable speaks of qualify and craftsmanship. I chose this over the AT-LP120XUSB/BT for the better stylus and auto-stop feature. I was specifically looking for a turntable that would stop after the record was done playing (as Im not always around to immediately lift the tone-arm) and this does it well. Fleetwood Mac and The Eagles have never sounded so good. I love it. Highly recommend!

> 24 hourI didnt plane it this way, bought the denon X3500h from Amazon based on bang for the buck was looking for good sound quality and home theater at the same time since I mostly watch movies, and some Martinlogan 35xt matching center channel and dynamo 500 sub. Spent many hours trying to get hd/ hi res audio to sound good but just wasnt sounding as good as my old teac 501 dac and beyerdynamic t90 headphones sound. Then i noticed the Denon had phone input and decided to get the rt82. Blown away at how good new records sound, cant stop buying them. Who new the Denon phone amp and the rt82 would sound this good? Who new I loved Jazz try Grant Green.. Nice!

> 24 hourThe Fluance RT 82 came with the OM 10 cartridge, which I was looking for too. I own a couple of cartridges; Ortofon Concorde MK2, OM Pro S, and Audio-Technica AT-VM95E. My favorite is the OM Pro S, and it has great bass and amazing sound quality (the other two are great too). I bought the RT 82 as an upgrade for my vintage Technics SL 235, and I thought the OM 10 cartridge was a win-win for me. It has a cool design and looks. However, I am disappointed with the T 82 sound and the OM cartridge (probably I got a crappy one). The sound quality of the bass is not match to my SL 235. I switched cartridges (and switched the pre-amps and used different pre-amps), and the sound quality of the RT 82 improved, but the sound of my SL 235 was still better. You will get a good sound with the RT-82 if you get a decent cartridge (OM Pro S, MK3, or better), and I still recommend the RT 82 if you need a good turntable.
