> 24 hourOn Amazon it states that you need a phono preamp but when I opened the box and read the manual it stated that a preamp is NOT required. So I now have to return the preamp

> 24 hourHaving had a Crosley from UrbanOutfitters from about five years, which as a starter record player was great, built in speaker, no need for an amp, this was a welcome upgrade. It looks amazing, which is awesome, and it really does feel like the next level of a record player. The sound quality is more crisp. The set up was easy with the video Fluance provides. One thing to remember, I had read this somewhere before purchasing, when you first play it, it is not at its best. I think it was something like ten hours in does it kind of warm up and get the sound you are looking for. My first couple records I played I thought something may had been wrong, but the more I used it, the better it got.

> 24 hourCopy of review for the 81 comparing both tables: I got this one for my bedroom and the 82 for my living room which is much bigger. I mainly got this one for the walnut color which was sold out in the 82 and I figured Id compare them this way. Slightly different rigs. This one has a Sony amp with old Pioneer 3 way speakers vs an onkyo with polk towers downstairs. Both rigs are excellent but slight advantage downstairs and Id say the om10 is a slightly better cart vs the at95 but all in all these turntables are amazing. I played the first 2 sides of deloused in the comatorium on both tables. Sounds are Bouncing around the room. Om10 slightly prettier at95 slightly livelier. Both of these tables are amazing. One of my favorite albums really coming to life right out of the box. Ive heard the at95 needs burn in time too so this really is a great cart. Both are beautiful tables and solid af. The walnut is definitely my favorite but the black is very classic and looks great. Im switching from project rpm and technics which were also nice tables but I honestly think these are the best sounding tables Ive ever had. Also upgraded both to acrylic mats. You will not be disappointed. Id say go with the om10 but really both sound amazing

> 24 hourThe whole RT lineup is great to see from Fluance. This is the perfect middle ground upgrade from most entry turntables. You get to start dipping your toes into the pre amp, power amp/receiver, passive speaker world. If you’re running powered speakers all you need is a pre amp. But the platform is there to upgrade. Looks great, build quality is great, and can easily turn it into a RT85 down the line with cartridge and platter upgrades. 10/10
