> 24 hourVery easy to set up nice looking and sounds very good through my 43 year old Pioneer receiver. on the nit picky side a place for the 45 adapter would have been nice as I have misplaced it already.

> 24 hourI was hoping for a decent sounding turntable and expecting that the quality to feel a little cheap with the MDF base and price point but I was very wrong to think that! The tone arm and plate are very solid and even the base has some weight and feels sturdy, nothing about it feels fragile at all and the sound is wonderful. Vinyl is so open and clean sounding compared to mp3s and pairing this with the Fluance preamp really unlocks that openness. Paired with a decent pair of powered monitors and my albums come to life. Highly recommended!

> 24 hourthe people who make products why wont you look at it from the stand point of the customer. tonearm adjustment is a joke when you can barely see the numbers. no place for the 45 adapter. finish is so dark you cant see the wood grain.

> 24 hourFirst off, Ive wanted desperately to love Fluance. Really. Ive tried to. I scraped together (and sold some stuff) so I could have a decent turntable. I studied up on dozens of different tables but this one continued to come up as the best bang for the buck. So I finally ordered it. When it arrived I set it all up and started it in. But the wow and flutter were out of control. I boxed it up and sent it back for a replacement and the people in customer service were great. This was in August. I got the new one, set it up and have enjoyed it. I bought some AI60s to match and have had all sorts of issues with them and the customer service was weeks at a time in responding. I decided to just eat the cost and enjoy them for what they are. One day Ill sell them and get something I like. By the time anyone actually responded my trial period was done anyway. So that sucks. Now my turntable is having issues with 45RPM. If the autostop is on, it slows WAY down the last 3 or 4 seconds. There are a few 45s it DOESNT do this on but it does it on most. It does NOT do this when the autostop is off. I bought this because it had an autostop feature. So there is obviously something defective on it. But, even after sending a video of the exact same record showing that it slows down on one setting and not the other they responded that it was an issue with my records. Seriously. This was well after a week of sending the email. I realize we are in a pandemic and things are slowed down a bit but this was an issue I had in January so thats not the problem. The problem is they dont care. And their products are amazing until they are not. And then you wont get any help. So, even though Ive given them multiple chances (and hundreds of dollars...dammit why didnt I go for Technics and Klipsch????!!!) Ill write these guys off for good. Unfortunately Im stuck since I cant afford to replace all this stuff :(

> 24 hourAfter fiddling with a Pro-Ject Essential III for a few months and being not too happy, I saw this Fluance RT82 as a New - Open Box special. It was exactly as described, really brand new. (Both had Ortofon OM 10 Cartridges installed.) I was shocked how it beat the Pro-Ject hands down. The Pro-Ject was very sensitive to outside vibration and noise, and no matter how I tweaked it there was a constant motor noise transmitted through the tone arm and cartridge. The motor operation was actually audible a few feet away with the volume turned down. The Fluance is dead quiet, well isolated from motor and other noises and vibrations, and not too prone to skipping from footsteps near it. Overall it seems to be an entire grade of quality above the Pro-Ject. Tracking, speed and stability are amazing for the price. Paired with a Yamaha A-S501BL Amplifier and JBL 4312G monitors it is a pleasure to listen to without constant fiddling.

> 24 hourThe Fluance turntable (RT82) I received is a great addition to my music room. This replaced an old Technics turntable from the early 80s. The sound is great and the updated cartridge sounds great. It cant make my old poor vinyl sound too good, but it makes my quality vinyl sound great. I added a cork mat for the platter for better sound too. It tracks well and the speed was set right right out of the box. It has great solid rubber feet that are adjustable to level the turntable. It even came with a level to make sure its flat, nice! Definitely hi-fidelity play here. I paired it with a quality phono preamp because my receiver did not have one built in. Dont go cheap on a phono preamp or the sound will suffer. Im very happy overall.

> 24 hourIve tried turntables for under $200 and they simply not that great. While the bulk of these are Audio Technica or have the same mechanics as AT, they continuously have issues with skips on records that never have and muddier sound as the album progresses. You cant get a good automatic / semi-automatic that works well anymore (I miss my Technics turntable). So I sucked it up and got the Fluance. I will say as an actual record player, the sound is really good and it plows through problematic records that the AT couldnt handle. Setting it up was fairly easy especially if you follow the video the company posted on YouTube which takes about 5-10 minutes from unboxing to playing. Its a reasonably inexpensive turntable thats meant to work like a pricier audiophile one. I compared the sound to the AT and its not even close. The Fluance sound is bigger and broader in sound making a lot of my old records sound new. The AT is strictly for newbies who dont care for sound. The AT sounds flat and compressed. A better turntable definitely has an audio difference. Im also pleased that the speeds on the turntable were pretty accurate right out of the box. That said, I find it odd that Fluance couldnt add a few more features. Its advertised as a semi-automatic turntable, but thats being extremely generous. The only feature thats semi-automatic is the turntable will stop when the needle gets to the end after 20 seconds. Thats it. Theres no power shut off, no auto return, nothing. You have to drop the needle and return the tone arm manually, and even after that, the power dial also has to be turned off. I dont know if anything bad would happen by leaving it on, but for 21st century equipment, this seems way behind the times. I guess one of the manual benefits is you dont accidentally have it set for an LP when you mean to play a 45 and have the needle automatically miss the record and damage the needle. Given how replacement needles for this are fairly expensive, I could see why one would want to me more cautious but they do provide better sound than cheaper ones and perform better like I said before. In summery. its a turntable that performs and sounds well, but it takes a bit more effort on your part.

> 24 hourFrom top to bottom an amazing piece of equipment. The fit and finish are executed to perfection and the sound it creates is pure and effortless.
