Greater than one weekExcellent turntable for the money. Well built and excellent sound. Only thing I might do, in the future, is upgrade to the red cartridge but the stock one is very good.

> 3 dayAfter watching several hours of reviews on YouTube I purchased this turntable. It seemed like a good balance of price and performance. One thing I found compelling was that Fluance makes all of their Reference-series turntables fully upgrade-able. Meaning, you can start with this unit and upgrade the parts as your budget or inclination dictate. I also had to do some research into the stylus/cartridge, since Fluance uses the Ortofon OM series stylus on the RT82 and the Ortofon Red/Blue on the higher ones, I did look at what those would cost to upgrade, and if it would be worth it. Because you cant just swap the stylus (different line/design; you can swap out the whole cartridge) it would be fairly expensive and a better deal to just buy a higher level turntable out of the gate. However, it seems that there are higher OM series styluses available that are roughly equivalent to the Red/Blue styluses. All that being said, the humble RT82 sounds great as-is out of the box, and I will need to upgrade other components before I worry about the stylus. Overall, exceptionally pleased with the purchase!

> 3 dayComing from a more basic turntable, it took me a while to figure out how to get the tonearm balanced. It wasnt until I found Fluances video on the subject (Amazon wont let me provide the link but its on Youtube) that I finally got this setup without the tonearm skating. The turntable sounds great with the stock cartridge/needle, and looks great with its shiny white finish. Love the auto-off feature as well - the fact that the arm does not return to the starting position is no big deal for me.

> 3 dayNoticeable upgrade from the RT81 model. Bamboo looks sleek. My setup uses a bellari preamp, Sony receiver, and passive Sony bookshelf speakers. Recommend adding in a record weight for stability and added audio improvement. Make sure to grab a vinyl record cleaning kit. The Ortofon stylus on this turntable is great at picking up the slightest amount of dust on a record.

> 3 dayIts a very solid performer. This is a good starting or intermediate turntable and beyond. The thing that is great about this model is that its perfect just the way it is and should last you a very long time. However, if you are the type that likes to upgrade like I am you can choose another cartridge and even an acrylic platter and upgrade it. You wont be disappointed with this turntable thats for sure. Ive been listening to vinyl since I was a kid in the early 70s and I have had a few turntables through the ages and this one I would buy again.

> 3 dayDead easy to set up and the quality is exceptional for the price. I had an Ortofon Red kicking about and it took the sound to the next level. Highly recommend TT with easy upgrade if you want to improve your listening. Buy It
