Wife bought crabs at mall for class pets this sand works greats she is a fan it stays moist the crabs like it. She gets 2 bags every month.

Hermit crab didnt like the sand. It climbed on top of coconut shell and rarely went into this sand.

They seem to love to dig in it. Easy to use and keep moist as hermit crabs prefer.

I love this sand for my crabs and honestly wouldn’t buy them anything else. I’ve had three for over a year now and they are thriving. This sand is wonderful. They like to bury themselves in it. It’s wet too! I would highly recommend to someone looking for some great hermit crab sand.

Our crabs love this sand. We were using a dryer, basic sand. This sand stays moist and the crabs seem to enjoy digging and moving around in the sand. Great price too.

Krabs didnt have a problem with sand. They buried their selves in it. I have a 10 gallon tank definitely need about 5 bags of it. I only invested in 2 to begin with. Sand needs to be 6in deep for them

3 out of 6 hermit crabs died when we switched from pure ocean sand to this :( my kids are super disappointed. We had them for 3 months alive and well until this switch. I am feeling so guilty at the moment.

Been really struggling with keeping the humidity up in the tank especially overnight. We have had the brown shredded looking stuff that comes in a brick cant think of the name right now but anyways first day/night with both brown and sand and holy moly its still at 70% humidity! Thats so amazing! We just bought 3 crabs from a petco and only have 1 left. Weve had 1 giant crab since june.. so right now we have a giant beast crab and a really tiny baby crab
