    Ive bought the same filter from the past but from a different vendor. Im not sure if I got a bad quality. Anyway, the water in my tank started to have these foamy particles from the filter that I bought.

    Works perfectly for my cannister as it should! I have not taken a chance on off-brand replacement media so I dont have much to compare to but obviously if you want direct fit and replacement, this will accomplish it.
