01-06-2025catches a lot of fine particles/bits, works well in conjunction with a FX5 canister & other Fluval media. Keeps my 120g w/ large (12+) mixed cichlid stock crystal clear. I have several that i rotate out, rinse and reuse, fairly sturdy filter pad.

> 3 dayI think it is hard for me to judge exactly how well these work, because i implemented a lot of different filter media at the same time. In cooperation with the other media, the water in my tank is good. I have a 75 gallon tank with one red ear slider and a fluval FX5 filter. I use 2 of these pads in 2 different trays.

> 3 dayWorks for my fluval FX4 but the package was smashed. Filters themselves were ok because they are soft and the material sprung back. Amazon needs to package this item better i.e. in a box not a soft envelope. Also the ratings included Noise level and suction which makes no sense for this product.
