These work as described, but usually pad like these can be washed out and resused. Not the case with these, very thin and only lasted me a month. The white version of these are much better in my opinion.

I had ordered these to preemptivly stock up and the price was good. When I recieved the blue filter pads I noticed these are knockoffs placed into the Fluval box. First I noticed these were flimsy and way thinner, whereas the authentic Fluval blue pads I already had on hand from a reputed fish store were thicker, sturdier, and tightly woven. The knockoffs are not cleanly cut as you can tell by the picture and are about half an inch small in diameter. They are also thinner than the authetic pads. Very devious and misleading as I paid for an item which I expect consistancy and legitamicy.

Buy off brand. I read reviews for others saying they were a tight fit and smaller holes. I bought these and they fit tight in FX4. They will do fine since they are made for the Fluval but next purchase will be another brand so I can save money.

Works great I have two red eared sliders and a few fish in a 120 gallon tank, I use 2 of these filters in the top basket for getting the big stufd before moving onto my bio rings... My turtles are very messy eaters missing half the food they eat I swear and with this high output of a canister these keep right up with it, I use two of these in the top tray with carbon sock under them then middle tray is loaded with almost 3 boxes of bio rings, and bottom tray with 1 1/2 boxes of bio rings on top with 2 white pads (filter floss) on the bottom mainly to catch particles off of the biorings which put off ceramic sand for the first 2 months or so, I use the white ones now to keep my water crystal clear....love the pump.and.these blue pads! Ps... There is another seller on here who I have found that sells these in a generic for almost half the price same size thickness and structure just half price and without fancy boxing highly sugjest saving the few bucks ;-) have a good one

excellent product easy to use and does a great job keeping the fish tank clean

Product is keeping my tank clean and water crystal clear. Make sure you buy enough that way you can switch them out once a month.

Fits great in my FX6. Still cycling the tank but so far the water is crystal clear.

I use this in my fx5 on a 125 gallon tank that has exactly (1) fish. Yes, only one fish. After about 2 weeks in my filter, i noticed barely any water was being filtered. I opened up my fx5 and this pad was already clogged. I rinsed it and cleaned it and put it back in. After another week, it clogged again. I just tossed it after that and the water flow is fine.
