Funko Pop! Advent Calendar: Marvel - Holiday, Multicolor, One Size

Box is pretty standard for calendar. Opening each day isnt super difficult. Overall, I like the quality of the pops so far. All, but one (so far...as of 08DEC22) stand up on its own. So far it has been a mixture of gingerbread versions of Marvel characters and Christmas themed versions of Marvel characters. I think its a great advent calendar for someone that likes Funko Pops and Marvel. Update: I got several duplicates (see photo) which is disappointing. The advertisement says 24 unique pops. There are a ton of Marvel characters…not sure why there are so many duplicates. Knocked of a star because of it.

There are so many characters in the MCU, but unfortunately this calendar is repetitive in characters & poses (there are only 11 different characters in 24 days). You’ll see the same character/pose, but one has glitter or glows in the dark & one does not…several times in the set. (For example, there are 3 Captain Americas - a gingerbread, a snowman, & a glittery snowman). The figures that are there are fun, but I really wish there had been more variety. Additionally, I received a duplicate of one of the figures & consequently was missing another that was supposed to come in the set. I tried reaching out to Funko on multiple occasions before submitting this review, but after 4 months have yet to hear back from their support team.

Few doubles though sadly

I did not realize that these Marvel characters would be dressed up in Christmas costumes. But it made my son laugh. Unfortunately there were doubles and it was my seven year old who told me to review this item and suggest we return it for a refund. His sister also got one with no doubles so this caused a fight in our house! Gosh I love the holidays. Merry Christmas!

The product was great. I bought this for my wife. I was only disappointed in the fact that there were multiple of the same figures. I thought that there would be different characters however there were repeats. Overall it was a good gift and she enjoyed it. Thanks, Shawn

I usually love getting these advent calendars from Funko but I’m not sure if it was mistakes or if the duplicates were deliberate. Because the others of the gingerbread characters were the diamond variety and there is at least one other Groot Christmas version that could have been used. Overall loved it but not completely happy with it. Edit: I reached out to Funko and was told the Ironman and Thor were the glow ones. Still not entirely happy but I always enjoy these.

Many duplicates! For being Marvel I expected way more variety. Would not buy again. Missing two from the pic (one was the iron man with the plastic stand (another duplicate and on the bottom left of pic) and a spider man (as if throwing web from hand). Fun for advent but disappointed with so many of the same character and identical ones too.

This is really quite adorable. The figured are behind little doors and also wrapped in plastic so you cant tell what they are. Were on day 12 and so far only two repeats: two baby Groot but theyre different, but two captain America snowmen. Theyre exactly the same but one is glittery. Either way my teenage son loves them. Only complaint is many of them are unable to stand on their own. Wish they were made with either a stand they can sit on, or flat feet and not top heavy. But quality is great and theyre really adorable! Edit: day 13 and theres no figurine. The box is empty. My son joked that it was the invisible man but for the money spent, I didnt think it was funny to have an empty box. Update:. Day 13 ended up not missing, the figure somehow had fallen into a later day. We had hoped for a really awesome last figure but it turned out to be a repeat of a figure we already got. In all there were three direct repeats and a couple that were the same but just with glitter. Would prefer each day to be a unique character. With multiple Groot figures and one Rocket, we were surprised there was no Star Lord. Also no Wolverine. Would have loved multiple Spider Man in different poses, outfits,etc. Overall though very happy with it.

*Slight Spoilers* For this price we expected 24 different cool holiday-themed figures (not much to ask). Instead we’ve received 2 pair of exact duplicate figures, and several near duplicates (for example: Captain America Snowman, and Captain America Snowman with *glitter*)! I bought this to open with my daughter daily as she opens her Funko Disney Advent Calendar; her super-awesome Disney calendar is making my Marvel calendar look anemic and weak. The Disney figures are superior in every way. And no cheap doubles! The Marvel set? Sooooooo much gingerbread! Ack! Funko is generally a quality product. But this set lacks imagination an FUN! Some manager at Funko or Marvel licensing should have put the brakes on this cheapie set and made it right. If you really want a decent Marvel Advent set, seek out the Marvel 75th Anniversary set from a few years back. Classic figures, no doubles, no gingerbread. High quality, and can be picked up at a decent price if you look around (currently $52 on Amazon - worth every penny! Come on Funko and Marvel! You can do so much better.

I was so excited to get this for my son this year so I decided to splurge and spend more money then I usually do on his calendar. Im super disappointed in the fact that there is so many duplicates. We have gotten 4 captain America already and its only the 17th. Yes one of them is glittery but still to have 4 of the same character is a waste. We also received 2 of the captain America snowman (which are super funny and cute but why 2) and 2 hulk. I just wish there was more variety in what we have gotten and I really hope we dont get any more captain America bc the look of disappointment on my 6yr old face seeing the same one stinks
