The drive is not recognized by Windows 10 if using a hub. Tried two hubs (Sabrent and another company). I just use the on-board USB port. Also, I could not rename the drive. It shows ARMOR ATD. Expensive 5 tb drive.

Formatted the drive on a MAC as journaled. Added ~1.5TB of data on a 5TB drive to copy to my new machine. Connected to machine; drive would never mount. Connected to original machine; drive would not mount. Couldnt format the drive either. Then tried on a windows and no such luck. Lost my trust.

This is a slow drive and thats OK. I assumed slow goes with sturdy. In this case the drive runs normally, but files began to just vanish after powering down and re-starting the drive just days later.. Then copying files began to fail and other files became corrupt making the drive completely unreliable. The drive is used with MAC OS APFS format. I have validated that this is the only drive with the issue in a 5-drive rotation of other brand drives

I found the product to be easy to use, and quite reliable. The memory capacity meets my current needs.

Ive had this product for less than a year and it is already slow to useless. When I attempt to transfer files off of the hard drive, it crashes my Mac (computer turns off and restarts with error message). Sometimes I manage to get it to work for a short time, but then it freezes up and crashes the computer again.

A video production I did with a large company required that I use these drives to work with them. Fell in love with them after buying and now its the only type of hard drive I use. Its built for durability, but Ive never had any issues of file damage, corruption or anything of that nature yet - like Ive experienced with other brands. Plus, it comes with both USB and USB-C compatibility.

Very durable nice to look at. Backwards compatible on Old PCs and very fast on new PCs. Excellent

I thought the first time I was the one who did something wrong but no. This drive is NOT compatible with Mac products. I’m stuck with it now because I waited too long to use it.

This HD is pretty light. It’s pretty fast as well. I know it says durable but I rather not put it to the test. I use it on my 2019 Macbook Pro and I love the fact that it comes with a USB C cable and an adapter to USB A/B. I also get USB 3.1 speeds so that’s a plus. I definitely recommend this if you just need a backup or don’t want anything super slow. It’s not super fast but it seems like it can take a few drops and still keep working and the speed isn’t super fast but definitely not super slow.
