Be aware that none of the advanced features that people buy this watch for are of any use without their app, and your consent to send your data to Garmin. After reading their privacy policy, and chatting with support with some explicit questions, I returned the watch unused, as one of the first steps is to synch with the phone app. From everything I have read the watch is probably great if you dont mind giving every detail about your life to hackers, the government, and Garmin.

Recomendaria compralo? Todo depende de lo que estes buscando.

I went from a Fenix 5x to the new 7. Touch screen is great, an all around great sports training watch.

I tried the Fénix 5X and returned it because it was very tedious to use the maps with buttons only. The Fénix 7X Sapphire Solar not only solves this problem but has a massive increase in battery life and better sensors all around. Most well-traveled trails don’t need fancy GPS watches, but I’ve been going off the trails more and more, and having an accurate GPS and not just a breadcrumb app is convenient. It beats relying only on Compass and maps only.

I have the 6x and it is great, the 7x is an all around improvement, the best out there!

Ignore the flashy technology; Garmin missed the mark with basics. After swimming in a pool, the buttons stop functioning. Sometimes the buttons stop functioning mid-swim. Most often its the back/lap button that stops functioning, rendering any form of lapped workout impossible. On multiple occasions the screen scrolls uncontrollably on its own after swimming as well, which could also be a stuck button issue. Garmin says to rinse the watch buttons with fresh water after every swim, and to soak the watch in soapy water if the buttons stop functioning. Neither of those actions should be necessary for a multi-sport watch, let alone one that costs $700+. Soaking works sometimes. Garmin replaced my first watch, and I quickly experienced the same issues with the second. My 3rd watch is on its way, but I have no confidence this one will work any better. Credit to Garmin for replacing the device while under warranty, but after that expires, Im out of luck. They also offered me an upgrade to the Solar version; however, that likely doesnt solve the problem since the button design is the same. The Garmin rep. I spoke with would not confirm or deny if they found any design or manufacturing issues, or if the upgraded Solar version is manufactured in a different factory than the standard version. Reading tech blogs, it seems that Im not the only one having these problems. Its frustrating that Garmin would not acknowledge a widespread issue. I wont trust this watch in a multisport race this year, especially coming out of the swim in a triathlon. The battery on my first device was incredible, but the battery life on my 2nd device was significantly lower and experienced huge drops even when not using GPS. I didnt even address this with Garmin since the buttons werent working anyway.

Watch was awesome, lived the LED flashlight. The solar charging was very cool. The watch was not bright enough for these old eyes.

Got this to replace an apple watch. Outstanding features, easy to use, beautiful well made watch. Awesome customer support. Havent had it long enough to see if battery life is as long as predicted. So many features I doubt I will use them all but has everything I want: exercise metrics, sunrise/sunset, HRV, weather, ABC, in addition to maps, breadcrumb options, VO2, etc. You can change the face metrics colors etc. Its expensive but so far appears to be a winner in everything Ive done. Website give assistance/ chat responses are quick and to the point. I guess my only complaint is it doesnt come with a plug for the charging cable (minor issue). If you think about this- BUY IT. You wont be disappointed
