Me encantó. 100% recomendado

    Greater than one week

I ended up returning this after seeing what the screen looks like in real life. Almost like a retro game or some kind of graphing calculator, very poor quality “graphics” and it really ruins the watch. Feature wise, it’s incredible.

I bought the Fenix 7 Sapphire Solar. Very good watch for its intended role (outdoor / sports watch) b/c noone else makes something with same capabilities and with days of solar power. You can watch any youtube review to get an idea of the positives. But, here are the negatives that noone seems to discuss: (1) the screen is not as bright or clear as depicted in any picture or video, even with backlight at 100%. (2) The UI is not user friendly. A lot of the submenus are overly complex and some require you to use only the buttons despite there being a touch screen. If youve used Garmin products in past, you know what I mean. (3) Menus are not laid out in a common sense fashion. Certain apps or functions are hidden and not apparent to access. Takes time to figure it all out. Not intuitive like a Samsung or Apple watch. (4) B/c a lot of functionality is still tied only to the buttons (I estimate at least 70%), in which there are five, you often end up pushing the wrong one. But, instead of being able to go back or undo what youve pressed, you will have to start all over again if you pressed the wrong button. Can be frustrating. (5) The apps or activities are unnecessarily complex to use that it becomes a burden. For example, if you are running a fitness activity (which is basically various fitness apps for the type of activity you are doing, i.e., run, hike, cardio, etc.) there is no easy way to access your music player to control music other than by pressing and holding down the light button to access a bunch of controls which you then have to use the buttons to select music controller which then takes you to a separate screen music. Press the wrong button and you may end up stopping your exercise activity. Another example is the mapping app. It is great in the sense it provides topo map in the size of a watchface, but it is so cumbersome to use that it sucks. Good luck figuring out how to program way points, delete waypoints, create a route, etc. But at least you have it. (6) The music controller sucks. Limited functionality and requires lots of scrolling (which aggravatingly is limited to buttons). (7) The watchfaces are limited and bland looking, even the ones that are custom made in the IQ Connect store. If youre used to Garmin/Suunto/G-Shock watchfaces, then not a problem. (8) IQ Connect store is very limited and content is not listed in a shopper friendly manner (youll have to dig around to find content youre looking for). But, thats not a big deal since most functionality is already built into the watch. Just cumbersome to use. (9) Does not seamlessly tie into your phone like a Samsung to Android or Apple to iPhone. For example, you cant turn off an alarm on your phone from your watch when it goes off.

It was a gift to my girlfriend. She likes running but also workouts. She likes very much workouts in this watch. Also, running functions are awesome, especially the heart efforts indicator. This allows to descend the effort at right time especially in hot summer time. Numbers of workouts availables for download and video animations of exercices are very helpful and motivating.
