> 24 hourI would randomly hear crackling sounds from this power strip that sounded like a wire short, the light would flicker, so I stopped using it. The app was easy to set up, just not safe to leave plugged in.

> 24 hourEasy to install and the app is super easy to use. Grow Lights I have connected to the smart outlets turn on/off as I’ve scheduled them. Worked great when I was out of the country.

> 24 hourOut of the box it was great. Plugged it in, pressed the power button to turn it on and then held the pairing button down for a few seconds. The Geeni app works well and allows for some customization and timers for each plug. I was so happy that I went out and bought four more of them. A FEW MONTHS LATER... We replaced our internet router and changed the settings for the wifi. This meant we had to reset all the plugs to match the new router configuration. The Geeni plugs WILL NOT RESET. You press the pairing button and the plugs turn on but it will NOT go into pairing mode. I looked this issue up on the web and found page after page of people having the same issue. I tried several noted fixes, such as leaving it unplugged for a while (several days in fact) but nothing worked. The power strip still works but is no longer very smart. I am unable to pair them with anything. I would not and will not purchase these again. I can now see why they were the least expensive on Amazon.

> 24 hourThese things are great. I have a bunch of single outlet models that are $10 at Wally World. This is a great concept. I use mine for a neon light in my bedroom as well as the air conditioner. I can turn the air on an hour before I get home from anywhere. In the winter I have a heating pad between my blankets that I use to keep my feet warm. I can turn it on from the living room before I go to bed. I also have some of the smart lights from geeni too. Only ever had an issue once or twice with the WiFi, over a 6 month period. Could have been my WiFi. Hey none of these things are perfect all the time. I don’t have Alexis so I can’t say about that.

> 24 hourThe app lets you choose what to name each outlet so they can be controlled separately and each can have their own schedule assigned. I also have it linked with my google assistant, so now I can control all the lamps in my house completely hands-free.

> 24 hourI got this for my desk lamp and powered speakers (Kanto YU2.) Since WFH began, reaching under the desk everyday for the lamp switch and fiddling with my speakers volume became a real pain. With this outlet and the free SmartLife app (I can confirm it works!) I schedule everything on my desk to turn on before I start working and turn itself off in the evening. The 2 USB charging ports are very useful as well. One issue I encountered was, when I initially placed it right by my wifi router, It had a really hard time syncing in the app and staying on my wifi network. It was frustrating and I almost gave up, but moving them apart from each other fixed it and the experience has been seamless for months now.

> 24 hourThis only just recently started messing up on me. its still supplies power but the smart functions seem to have completely gone away. I cant reset it or get it on my network or anything. I contacted geeni and they sent me a replacement though so that was nice. Other than that, I really like these power strips. You can control each individual outlet on them or the whole thing. Works really well through Alexa.
