> 3 dayI use this in my office to control some light fixtures that cant use smart bulbs, and its been fine. Each outlet can be named and controlled independently, but I usually just use them all at once by telling my smart thing to turn off the office and it just poofs the whole office into off mode.

> 3 dayI hooked this thing up in my studio so that I could use my phone to toggle the power of some of my audio equipment that doesnt have an on/off button, and save some electricity when the studio isnt in use. Ive only had it hooked up for a couple of days, but it has already done this more than once! Basically, for no reason at all, the power strip will randomly switch off and almost immediately turn back on again. This causes a big voltage spike/power surge which is potentially very damaging to professional audio equipment. If this happens even one more time, Ill most definitely be returning this device for a refund and investigating alternative power management options. A surge strip should never power cycle like this for no reason whatsoever, especially not a smart one! Aside from what is connected to the Geeni surge strip, none of my other equipment had any power interruption when the Geeni strip power cycled, so I know the issue was isolated to this device and not some other systemic problem with the power here.

> 3 dayThese things are great. I have a bunch of single outlet models that are $10 at Wally World. This is a great concept. I use mine for a neon light in my bedroom as well as the air conditioner. I can turn the air on an hour before I get home from anywhere. In the winter I have a heating pad between my blankets that I use to keep my feet warm. I can turn it on from the living room before I go to bed. I also have some of the smart lights from geeni too. Only ever had an issue once or twice with the WiFi, over a 6 month period. Could have been my WiFi. Hey none of these things are perfect all the time. I don’t have Alexis so I can’t say about that.

> 3 dayIt is a great value because you get 4 outlets that you can control independently. The price was not bad and the quality was much better than I expected it to be. This geni does good work making your outlets smart also has 2 usb ports to charge stuff the wires and case were nicer than you would expect for the price.

> 3 dayI have had this for quite some time now. When it works it is easy to use and works great. I have this installed to control the lighting on my aquarium. Every few months it decides it does not need my schedule. The lights turn on in the morning one day and never shut off. I delete the schedule and install a new one and still will not follow it. I can turn the lights on and off from the app. So it is not a case where the wifi isnt working. Factory reset time. Well this is annoying, but should be easy, right? No. I tell it factory reset, all lights shut off. I lay on the floor and hold the button down and it blinks quickly, I tell the app to search. At exactly 6% or 10% depending on the mood the light stops blinking. The app sits there going up 1% at a time slowly and painfully while I sit there looking at it like a moron because I know that if it doesnt pick it up by 10% it is not going to. Why does a device that can perform millions of calculations per second need 2 minutes to determine that this thing is not there when I can tell just by looking at the light shutting off on the power strip that 5 seconds in it is not connecting. I have several smart devices and they either instantly connect or dont at all. The 2 minutes % timer is such a waste of time and adder of stress and frustration when you know it has failed.

> 3 dayUsed for my Christmas village instead of having to switch all the houses on, I can now ask Alexa to turn on The village and they all on. It’s also linked to my phone on app so super easy to control especially for those hard to reach outlets behind cabinets. Love this purchase

> 3 dayThis is my 1st smart plug and its been a great but at this price. Set up took about two minutes and I can now romotely control six devices. Cost was less then 2 plugs from other brand. App is easy too use and is pretty customizable Update: 3/23/23, Less than a year after purchasing this item the wifi has stopped working. The geeni app & google home now just say this powerstrip is offline and all attempts to reconnect it manually or through the easy startup process have failed. It started working very briefly twice and then crashed again. So..no this is just a very expensive basic six plug powerstrip and Ill have to buy another one from a different brand to regain the functionality I had before. Disappointing.
