> 3 dayUnder cabinet kitchen lighting. Maybe not what you thought when you looked up this item. I needed to install two runs of under cabinet lighting to make wifey happy. Problem is, I’m not an electrician, I get power drill happy, and I hate extra wires. This solved everything. Between the two runs is my microwave and above the microwave is a cabinet with a single power outlet meant for the microwave. I put this puppy in the cabinet, ran the lighting power cables up through the cabinets and sideways into the cabinet above the microwave, plugged it all in and POW! Now my kitchen looks great and I can schedule exactly when the lights turn on and off, and all I needed was a cheap lighting kit, superglue, a big drill bit and this guy!

17-11-2024This only just recently started messing up on me. its still supplies power but the smart functions seem to have completely gone away. I cant reset it or get it on my network or anything. I contacted geeni and they sent me a replacement though so that was nice. Other than that, I really like these power strips. You can control each individual outlet on them or the whole thing. Works really well through Alexa.

> 3 dayI have had this for quite some time now. When it works it is easy to use and works great. I have this installed to control the lighting on my aquarium. Every few months it decides it does not need my schedule. The lights turn on in the morning one day and never shut off. I delete the schedule and install a new one and still will not follow it. I can turn the lights on and off from the app. So it is not a case where the wifi isnt working. Factory reset time. Well this is annoying, but should be easy, right? No. I tell it factory reset, all lights shut off. I lay on the floor and hold the button down and it blinks quickly, I tell the app to search. At exactly 6% or 10% depending on the mood the light stops blinking. The app sits there going up 1% at a time slowly and painfully while I sit there looking at it like a moron because I know that if it doesnt pick it up by 10% it is not going to. Why does a device that can perform millions of calculations per second need 2 minutes to determine that this thing is not there when I can tell just by looking at the light shutting off on the power strip that 5 seconds in it is not connecting. I have several smart devices and they either instantly connect or dont at all. The 2 minutes % timer is such a waste of time and adder of stress and frustration when you know it has failed.

Greater than one weekThe product eventually worked as advertised. However, it would not sync with Bluetooth to my smartphone initially. However, after about the 10th time it finally did. So, all is good now.

> 3 dayI have been using smart outlets as timers for my aquarium lights. After getting tired of still bending over to unplug equipment I wanted to try a power strip. This one checks all the boxes for me- Strip connects to the Smart Life App without issue. Unit looks good and is styled nicely. Every power outlet on the strip is connected to wifi

18-11-2024Wonderful, works great so far with downloaded app. However the USB ports are not able to be controlled in the app/remotely, only the 4 plug ins. Works with Alexa app or Google assistant.

> 3 dayOnly used for 2 weeks (of course missed the return window by a day) and it started short circuiting, electric zapping sounds and flickering the 3 lights that were plugged in. All the lights work perfectly normal with any other surge protector and outlet. I will not be using this product from geeni but I do recommend their lightbulbs and normal outlets as I haven’t had an issue with those.

> 3 dayI love this - its easy to set up more so than other wifi plugs I have used. Its great having all of the plugs on one surge protector. Setting up the schedule was a bit clunky and then its more infuriating when nothing turns off. Its not like it doesnt ever turn off, but the days and times which it actually decides to turn off are hit and miss. I had plugs from enbrighten and those schedules were way easier to set up and much more reliable. I think if someone can figure out their programming side of this on their app, it would be the best wifi plug. So Geenie, please update your app!

> 3 dayI like the wi fi power strips, and this is the first one that Ive seen with 6 outlets. Plan is to use this with an aquarium build. I have a couple 4 outlet strips that also have USB plugs. Currently trialing this on my pico saltwater tank. And notice the outlets needed to be wider apart for those bulky converter plugs. And that a couple of USB plugs would be nice. Although when I put this on the tank Im building wont need USB. Although I love that I can make on/off schedules for refugium light and protein skimmer, and that I can just tell Alexa to turn off my pico pump and auto top off when doing water change or any work on the tank. Finally would appreciate a way to hang this power strip/attach it to the wall.
