Greater than one weekWonderful, works great so far with downloaded app. However the USB ports are not able to be controlled in the app/remotely, only the 4 plug ins. Works with Alexa app or Google assistant.

Greater than one weekThis power strip has a major design flaw. If you unplug it or lose power, the Wifi will stop working and make the strip useless. There isn’t even a way to make the outlets turn on manually. Customer service is also slow to respond to warranty replacements. The 1st unit was eventually replaced free of charge, but that one broke the same way the first one did. It has been a week and customer service still hasn’t responded to my inquiry about a refund (no need for another replacement, this is useless if it keeps breaking after power loss). Glad I was home when both instances happened, otherwise my fish would be dead… I ordered another strip and tested it for the same flaw: works perfectly. Don’t waste your time with Geeni. Spend a few more bucks and get a reputable brand.

10-06-2025I had three sets of low voltage string lights plugged into an extension block that was plugged into a Geeni Smart Dot that stuck out pretty far from the outlet and just looked plain messy. This not only organized my cord mess, but is also undoubtedly a much safer way to plug in multiple devices. The connection to both the Geeni app and Alexa was quick and easy.

> 3 dayI have a Mixer, Computer Monitor, Active Speakers, Chromecast, HDMI Audio Splitter and Desk Lamp all plugged into and individually controllable through this ONE surge protector. Each outlet being a smart plug makes the utility of this surge protector multiply tenfold especially if you have an entertainment center and are looking to, for example, power on your mixer before powering on your speakers so there isnt a POP over the speakers. I have connected this to both Amazons Echo and Google Assistant and it works like a charm. Easy to reset as well if ever the smart assistants lose connection.

> 3 dayThis item works well—when it works. After weeks of back and forth with tech support it was decided that a replacement item would be sent. That was over a month ago. Ive sent over a dozen emails asking a status on the replacement and they do not respond. Avoid this company!

Just doesnt have the little holes on the back to hang it on a wall like every other surge protector. If theyre going to make that upgrade, it would be perfect

> 3 dayThis product came trashed. There is no way that the product I received wasnt used or refurbished despite it being sold as new. There is some obvious signs of wear on both the box and inside components. But NEED outweighs the cons for me at the moment. So Im stuck with it. If I had another option I would. Easy to install and app is fairly straightforward to connect. Some of the prong holes are a little tough to plug things into, but as I only needed it for 3 items I simply used the other outlets. Wi-Fi signal is good.

> 3 dayThe device connected to the network after several attempts. I set up rules to leave one port on all of the time, 3 ports are on an on/off schedule every 12 hours, so each of those ports has two rules, one for the time to turn on and one for the time to turn off. The last two ports are off all of the time. Right away, one port on the 12 hour schedule misbehaved. I reset everything and set up the rules again. All was mostly good until we tried to use the last two ports. I added the same rules, but the ports would not shut off. I’ve tried resetting and opened a problem with he manufacturer. I have had no response from them. Had to abandon use of the last two ports. Our others continued to work properly and after two months, including the time change and network updates, of working properly, they have suddenly begun ignoring their rules. Would not recommend.
