> 24 hourWe looked all over the stores for 18 month old underwear for our twins that were potty trained at 18 months, no luck as they start at 2 yr olds. So thankful we found these Gerber training pants! These fit great on our 18 month olds fitting into 18 month old clothes. These do not hold a lot of urine but do held protect against major accidents that might happen... There is a thicker liner on the bottom of each pair that help keep little ones drier but to let them know they have gone. These are not as thin as regular toddler underwear.

> 24 hourI think these are a good value especially by Amazon prices. I paid under $13 for 4 on Amazon, though I see at the moment they are over $15 for 4. You can get 3 for $8 any day of the week from Target. I only ordered these here because I wanted the size 18 months and Target only has 2T and 3T. It has not been my experience that these run large, as Ive seen in some other reviews. My daughter is 19 months and about 25 lbs. She has chunky legs. She wears size 18 month clothing. And the size 18 month training pants fit her. If anything, they are a little tight around the leg. She can also fit the 2T. There was really hardly any difference between the 18 month size and the 2T, especially after my 2T (white) shrunk in the dryer. I cant comment how well they hold up because we havent had them for very long. They are not super thick, not like the Blueberry ones I got, but thats fine by me. Lets her feel the wetness, which is what I wanted. I also cover these with a vinyl diaper cover, so Im not relying on these alone to keep clothes or furniture from getting wet.

> 24 hourI bought the 2T size for my then 18 month old. The underwear is exactly what needed to fully potty train my now 2 year old. It used to be a tiny bit on the larger side, but I bought it knowing that Id rather she grew into it than buy an exact fit now and buy new ones within a few months. The material is soft, and 6 months of washing has not worn it down and not only has it stayed soft, but the padding is intact. The padding will handle about an ounce or so of liquid without making a messy puddle. That way I only have to wash the undies and her clothes and not worry about the floor. Clearly these are not meant to contain big accidents. The potty training started with my daughter peeing a bit in the underwear everytime, before she could let me know. Now 4 months later she hardly has those accidents. She now wears these as a regular everyday underwear. I love the color combination and the padding is not so thick that it shows through leggings. These are not waterproof and do not have any plastic lining or such. overall i am very happy with my purchase.

> 24 hourWe keep buying these underwear because its so hard to find training pants to fit my small 2-year old and so few companies make training pants in size 18 months (and none smaller from what Ive found). Theyre still a bit big on the little kid, though. Theyre just starting to not be baggy. Theyve held up well after a lot of washes and well keep using them until she grows out of them (which is unlikely since theyre still big).

> 24 hourThese not only leak, they are no more absorbing than just regular underwear. Plus they are bulky, ride super high and are ugly. Yet dont help avoid leaks. Terrible purchase. Waste of money. Pretty disappointed coming from such a big brand name.

> 24 hourReally really like these training pants. They are so soft. My daughter loves wearing them. I really didnt want anything that had plastic lining in them. As other reviews stated, it wont prevent a leak but it will help prevent a huge mess. I got the 18 month size. My daughter is 23 lbs and is 20 months old. She tends to run on the petite side but usually fits 18mo size clothes. So I feel like they run a little big. Im glad they run large instead of small though. At least she has some growing room. I would buy them again.

> 24 hourThese came in a vinyl package, and they absolutely reeked of the harsh chemicals in it. I had to wash them about 7 times before it wasnt noticeable, and more before it was completely gone. I recommend buying these; http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006OE22MA/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 (The Gerber Training Pants (6-pairs) here on Amazon) as they did NOT come in the vinyl packaging and did not reek of nasty chemicals. It also says they are 100% cotton, but it is worth noting for especially sensitive little ones, that within the absorbent center panel is some kind of artificial sponge. It did not seem to affect my little one though. They are holding up pretty well, though as with anything with elastic in, you dont want to expose them to too much heat - air dry them if you can. I think one has a small hole in the top of one of the waistbands, but that is after 9 months of pretty intensive use. (And being washed with nap and bed time cloth diapers.) For those of you ECing (Elimination Communication) I started using the 18 month size when my daughter was just 18lbs, and they held themselves up rather well, even though she has a pretty skinny butt. Now that they are a little well worn they wouldnt stay up if she was still that small, but shes not so thats OK. They do absorb a fair amount - my daughter learned to control her bladder very well so that she would let out just enough to wet the panties but not leak through - sneaky! And they work well enough under fleece pants as night training panties for a light wetter/a child that is trying to hold it. They dont hold too much though, they do teach toddlers what emptying your bladder will do, they just soak up enough to make less of a mess. Overall I am very satisfied with the product itself, I just wish they wouldnt use such horrible packaging.

> 24 hourThese are just fine - I was pleased that they fit my rather petite (23-lb) 18-month-old. She got very excited to wear her big-girl undies, and ran right to the full-length mirror to dance in them. I will say, however, that with our potty-training method (3-day weekend), well have to wait to wear underwear on a regular basis. For some reason, when we follow the methods instructions and just keep her in loose-fitting pants, she can hold everything and let us know when to go potty. When shes wearing underwear, though, its like she forgets...too much like cloth diapers, perhaps? Oh well: well just order the next size up after a few months of successful potty-ing. Shes doing great right now, and we dont want to go backwards from here. All in all, Id recommend these for fit, comfort, cuteness, and light-moderate wetting accidents, but not for full-on messes.
